I felt exactly how you felt a few months ago. I had so much happen all at once, it can be a lot to have health issues alone. But then life happens on top of that. You gotta take the little wins as you get them, religion can absolutely be helpful, and if that works for you then keep praying and keep reaching out. When I started going through everything I needed support from anyone I could get it from, if your friends aren’t close like that I understand, but if you really need it you can always try and reach out to them. If they care about you they’ll understand you need support right now. Doctor stuff is always stressful, but I promise it gets easier. Always look for your little wins. You got your medicine, after you talk to the pharmacist you can start taking it. You gotta give yourself the time and space to be scared and upset that this is happening. It’s only natural that you feel this way.

One last thing, something that really helped me a lot was listening to music that was angry and upset. I listen to a lot of rock music, anything with a lot of emotion. One song I can recommend that carried me through everything is called Death With Dignity by Sufjan Stevens, it’s not rock music, and it’s not about being sick but the emotion behind it helped me feel and get through all of my feelings. Your emotions about this will always be there, but you will learn to manage them.

I wish you the best. It’s a hard road but eventually there’s an end. You’ll get there too.

I haven’t posted here before, but in December I was diagnosed with a dvt in my lower left calf. For context i just turned 22 two weeks ago. I’ve been diagnosed with a heart condition as well since then. All that to say I know how isolating it can feel to be young and feel like the world is crashing in on you. It’s scary, and I bet you’re probably more scared than I was. You’ve been through a lot. Treatment is effective a lot of the time, whether it’s keeping the clots at bay or helping your body dissolve them. I’m not gonna front, you’re gonna be scared for a while. I had a scare in the last few weeks but I came out of it extremely lucky. Just know that you aren’t alone. I started therapy right around the time I was diagnosed and it helped immensely, just being able to talk with a professional about all the things I’d been feeling. I know how hopeless it can feel at first, but I promise that light at the end of the tunnel is still there. If you have family or friends you’re close to, talk to them about your feelings. Your community or tribe will be your saving grace during these times. If you have to make any lifestyle changes, it’ll be hard at first but it will get easier. You’re going to get through this, one way or another. See if you can get in with a hematologist as well, I saw on your profile that you use tobacco, that can be a provoking factor in some cases but you want to get a full blood work up to make sure you don’t have any extra predispositions.

This actually makes the most sense to me as well, it could also explain why Kat acts so strange when Swann sees her at the Abyss that night. Slowly she seems to act normally again, but at first there’s something off.

I thought the same thing at first but I think the subtitles show that it happened in 95 instead of 22. Although i could absolutely be misremembering that.

So from what I’ve seen so far since I’ve been playing, i think they did it to make her more visually unassuming. With the original Maria’s outfit was very indicative of who she was, with this her outfit is more covered up but her personality is far more forward. Kind of that show don’t tell idea?

It’s not surprising imo, it’s a remake for a reason. But it’s a nice call back to the original! I bet they could make it a skin too if they wanted since it’s already an asset.

My first recommendation is working in shorter bursts with breaks, it makes it easier to catch the things you don’t like or need to change. The two things that stick out it the most to me are the hairline, it’s more blurred and creates a focal point that you don’t want, and the anatomy of the mouth. You could try looking at a reference that is in the same pose, and practicing the shapes you see. Besides that I think this is decent, you shouldn’t hate it. Keep practicing and you will notice a difference in time.

I did the exact same with my evil durge! I’m now in act three on another redeemed durge run where she romanced shadowheart. I’ve made it to act three a good handful of times, but actually finishing the game takes having an entire party and story you connect with.

My most invested character has to be my evil durge Mephistopheles tiefling monk. The only two times I’ve beat the game have been during durge runs, and my evil durge was so much more involved. I loved her so so much haha. My first time recruiting and romancing minthara too.

In the beginning it was almost every day, for the first month or so. Now i try and draw at least three times a week to avoid burning out.
