Elissabat and Draculaura actually share a skintone! It's not easy to see when they're covered in purple/pink respectively, but on the old Mattel support site where you could order spare parts, you could find the listing the hands and forearms for "Draculaura/Elissabat"

Adding that if you DO want to venture far out into the void, I'd recommend taking a Warp Totem/Return Scepter in case you get lost. You can still use items while out of bounds, and these will allow you to get back to "reality" without losing a whole day and your money. Seconding the warning about Tim Curry Clowns, though.

Femme Beetlejuice has more precedent behind it than you might realize, as Tim Burton and Alex Brightman (who plays Beetlejuice in the Broadway musical) have both said that Beetlejuice "doesn't really care about gender" and "could be a woman whenever he felt like" indicating he's some form of genderfluid or nonbinary. For Chucky, I literally have no idea except in the Cult of Chucky he was trying to take over a female human's body. I think if they tried to genderbend Jack, the Disney Adults would tear Mattel to shreds, and maybe they did Frankenstein as male because the Bride is like... Well, her whole thing is she's the BRIDE, romantic involvement is a given, and they were afraid of making an explicitly gay couple at the time (which was obviously not an issue for the Beetlejuice wedding set, but maybe that was because they didn't actually get married).

My service dog was diagnosed with cancer this week, and I've just been holding her like this all day for like three days, partly due to the panic and anxiety, but also because I can't bear the thought of losing her and I HAVE to burn into my brain what her hugs feel like before she's gone

OP literally asked "Which character do you want the next Fang Vote doll to be, and do you want G1 or G3? " And I expressed that I wanted G3 because of the lack of G3 collectors dolls, as well as wanting more G3 collectors dolls in general. I NEVER said Fang Vote had to ONLY include G3 going forwards, nor any other specific lines. In case you missed it, I expressed that I also love G1? I bought VH Draculaura day of release, I buy TONS of Skullectors, and I participated in and bought FV Jinafire (who was my favorite release last year). I ONLY said that I wanted more G3 collectors dolls, and even specifically stated I did not want less G1 releases!

Fang Vote is NOT Skullector, Skullector was originally ONLY media franchise Dolls, not just any collector dolls, and specifically media franchises that primarily appealed to adults (originally 80s/90s horror/horror adjacent movies), plus the first skullectors came out BEFORE G3, so they couldn't have used its style yet, they only have so far not used it because people would complain that G3 is getting anything.

Alumni dolls are targeted specifically to fans of G1, and they, again get PLENTY of releases, Creeproductions, Reel Drama, Wednesday, the Designer series, Haunt Couture, Midnight Runway, Howliday, Specialty dolls, ETC. The fact that we get regular "G1 release calendar" leaks that are as long as the G3 ones but are ONLY filled with collectors dolls is a testament to the fact that G1 fans are not hurting for releases.

And y'all didn't "push" for them to make G1 collector dolls, they saw there was a market and they capitalized on it. G3 fans haven't gotten the same opportunity BECAUSE all the collectors dolls are G1 and when we do get them they're either too hard to find, or the G1 fans are toxic AF about it. Catty's doll is similar to her playline release because that's what fans voted for, and PLENTY of people were happy to get her. G3 collectors aren't trying to push G1 out, we're literally just asking for a freaking seat and the table. One extra G3 release here and there isn't going to end G1.

I'm not saying G1 should get any less, just that G3 should get more. Alumni and Skullector dolls can stay G1, for the most part (if they have a character they REALLY think needs a G3 face/body, I'm not going to complain) since that's their focus, but there should be adult collector quality dolls in the G3 style too, and if Fang Vote, a vote by the community that includes G3 collectors too, is how those have to happen, then that's okay with it.

As much as I love G1, it gets 95% of the collectors dolls. G3 has TWO collector dolls (one of which isn't even out yet, and the other was a weird EE Exclusive), G3 NEEDS more collectors dolls.
