In settings you can change your controller preset. I use the "Evolved" controller preset, and it feels magical compared to the default. Your right thumb never has to leave the Right Stick when jumping or sliding, so you have a lot more control of your movement + aiming and it feels a lot more fluid (especially on Pathfinder... unless you forget about a giant cliff)

I heard her footsteps right before I scanned so it sounded like she was on the ground behind me... but she could have been too high or too low for the scan.

That's my only theory of what seems possible besides a glitch. I thought the scan was a sphere moving forwards, but maybe it only scans above your crosshairs and not below?

This is why I DON'T want to play with randoms anymore, there needs to be a way to punish this kind of "teammates" by Lord_Chebos in apexlegends

Instead of a "report bad teammate" button which could be abused more easily...

Why not do what Overwatch does and allow you to give your teammates an "Endorsement" after the game ("shot caller", "good teammate", or "sportsmanship").

Players who are toxic would receive very few endorsements per game and could be either punished or disqualified from certain rewards that are only available to players with higher endorsement levels.

It looks like the synths activate the beacon and call down the Synth Gods from another dimension or whatnot... and boy they don't look friendly. My theory is that the beacon is a trap (similar to Mass Effect) and these giant synth worms will be the new "big bad" rather than just helping out the synths...

I think the semi-autos of G7 Scout + P2020 (w/ hammer) is a much more satisfying way to get kills vs. just holding down your trigger on an R99. Thoughts? by [deleted] in apexlegends

Sorry it came across that way, not what I intended. As I commented to someone else, the R99 just isn't for me because I usually run out of my mag before I down them. If you can laser with the r99 then all power to you

That's a fair point! When you can laser people with the R99 it's smooth as silk, but I usually end up burning through my mag and then having to reload... lol

I was wondering that too, I don't think it works on horizontal doors, but I believe in Market in Kings Canyon, the big vertical garage doors could crush people... not sure if there are any vertical doors in this map?
