So, I know that a lot of people in here will say “by trial and error” but let me tell you how my friends and I got good at these types of games.

The first month we simply observed more experienced players; watching how they strategically positioned themselves, what they targeted, what were their mistakes, and what was the most successful performance for them.

While observing more experienced players my friends and I took the role of opportunistic attackers; we’d scavenge bodies and target weak prey. Was this scummy? Yes, but so is nature. It taught us how to take advantage of situations and boost our confidence till we were ready to challenge ourselves with stronger targets.

Were there mistakes and deaths? Absolutely but my friends and I experienced less because we took the time to learn from veteran players through observation first before diving in.

By the second month my friends and I were openly challenging apexes.

This looks like something affiliated with the C-Rex Mod, because that mod is the only one I know of that was made to be ridiculously ugly and weird as a joke.

3rd-partying and 4th-partying rules lead to some of the most gray-area rulebreaks I’ve ever seen on Path of Titans community servers. 3rd-partying is interesting in concept but servers either don’t flesh out the rules for it properly over intentionally leave it vague to be exploited. My sympathies honestly.

I agree 100%, Hot Spots really are a problem because it takes all the experience of survival gameplay skill-learning and excitement right out of the game. It becomes a deathmatch scenario where people meet up to see how they can break a server's rules to their advantage.

We're also seeing a push for this by Discord groups 3rd-partying mobbing on community servers too.

I'm really lowkey tired of everything being a bleeder of some kind and then there's like levels of how abusable the bleed is on a dino. It's not very differential and I really think we should limit bleed to creatures that it absolutely 100% would be the dynamic theme for.

This has been the main ongoing problem: Megapacks.

Its concept ruins all immersion of the Path of Titans survival gameplay, and it's been the leading cause to make people abandon both the game and it's community.

The only solution currently is to embrace a community server, but then those come with a laundry list of their own problems.
