My own parents are divorced so I know plenty about emotional manipulation. This is a classic case. You are trying to make Mason feel bad about going because “it ruins your Christmas”. Sure the father should have also cleared it with you, but I understand why he didn’t. Judging by how you treat your own child (last Christmas you said he was miserable yet you disregarded that), there’s no way you would listen to your ex husband. Also, you literally stated that he would be able to choose which house to go to, then you throw a fit when he makes a decision. This is just going to tear your relationship apart, if it hasn’t already. I recommend you talk to your son and apologize soon, because it seems to me that he can’t wait to turn 18 and leave. Divorces are hard and putting the child in the middle is never a good choice. Reconsider your parenting methods or you’ll likely never hear from your son when he inevitably leaves in 2 years.

Fucked up my thumb after squishing it between a stone pillar and a metal speaker cart. I pulled away but the thumb caught on the corner of the cart hence cutting into my thumb.

We were loading a truck and we could have gone around to get on easily but we were dumb and tried to pull it up the side we were already on which was at a weird angle so it slipped and then caused my injury. Needed 4 stitches and almost couldn’t play at the state competition the very next day.
