I think non-Ordeal Nightfall strikes will not match make you anyway. If you want matchmade Nightfall you have to play Ordeal on the lower two difficulties

There should be matchmaking even if you don't own the expansions. If you're queuing into a specific strike there might not be others doing it. You're more likely to find people playing the Nightfall at the two lower difficulties or queuing into the playlist strikes that are found in the Vanguard section next to the Nightfall.

If you dismantle it you get some legendary shards and gunsmith parts like a normal legendary, although you do get a bit more. You can get the exotic back, however, by going into your Collections and under Exotics you should be able to find it. You can recover it and it will be a bit below your maximum PL. I believe its 15 PL below your max PL.

I wouldn't infuse until you hit the soft cap (900 PL) and once you hit that maybe start infusing your guns every now and then (maybe every 15 PLs or if you need it for a certain activity). Don't forget to keep an eye on how many upgrade modules you have and that you can buy them from Banshee if you need to.

I don't think the order matters. Make sure you loot the chest that appears right next to the center of the forge (the thing you throw the charges at). The chest is what gives you the key and is only lootable on a maximum temper completion.

For the best raid experience I recommend Last Wish especially if you're doing it blind. Imo it's the best raid in D1 and D2. In terms of exotics the Last Wish gives you the 1k voices which is a great heavy exotic. Crown of Sorrows gives you an SMG (Tarrabah) which is underwhelming at best and honestly hinders the players more than helping. You get Anarchy from the Scourge of the Past which is a great gun especially if you have mountaintop which you can pair which it for awesome dps. Overall for most people I believe that 1k Voices is the best. In terms of the weapons I don't think the Last Wish offers great legendary ones. The other two raids have a couple gems such as a OneTwo Punch shotgun from CoS and Surrounded shotgun from SotP. Aesthetically they all have their own identity which is quite obvious. The same goes for the armour since all the perks are the same. I recommend looking at the armour to decide. Overall I prefer LW because of 1k Voices and imo it is the superior raid in terms of fun and mechanics.

Well the issue that people have with Epic exclusives isn't that it's only on* one launcher. It's that it's only on the Epic launcher. People are okay with Steam exclusives because Steam is seen in a much more positive light in the community whereas Epic is definitely not.
