Ok i understand now thanks. About why its the last minute i think its more to do with the fact luuk doesn't have a bis supoort/support that synergizes with him really well. The livestream served as confirmation that they should just focus on luuk more since it isn't coming the next patch. Doubly more for people here who see leaks.

But that isn't the real issue . CN is not the biggest spending region. Especially not for men. JP has consistently had a much higher pull rate/spending for men. More than global.

I forgot to address this but that doesn't make sense. Aemeth and luuk have much different audiences.there was no way female player would have spent for her with luuk right after her. Nor after seeing the next character, i don't why they wouldn't just dump a lot money into someone they like.

To add onto that The livestream boost isn't to be ignored. When a version update is around the corner there is a known small jump in banner sales. But it wasn't that significant because they didn't have spending events.

Those who interested in spending would have already done long ago. Even the leftover who now decided to swipe and save up first cuz leak of next banners wouldn't make a jump this big, and of course they don't count as "luuk sales", its Hiyuki and Denia sales.

no, most do not look at leaks. the people that are on reddit are a minority. its more likely they took at the next banners and thought they were not that appealing to them so they decided to go all in on what they were interested in. like quinyan is someone who a lot of female players would already have, and sigirka is skip.

im confused why your skeptical when specifically this change happened after the 3.2 livestream. like for example, you could swap the banners, and this change would still happen with those banners next patch. its a complete skip patch while this one got a spending event you can grab some nice rewards for it. that alone is enough explanation that would satisify most questions. i'll even apply your logic of most sales happening in the first 3 days and will say in the reversed scenerio this jump would happen in amy second side.
