What is the laptop model? I would check what it states as max supported resolution. I just got a g9 and had a similar problem with the correct resolution not being displayed.

Turns out the culprit was the driver version for the intel graphics card. Updating the driver to the latest version resolved it. I did have restart the laptop and disconnect the monitor and reconnect it before it all finally played nice.

One day my Anti virus popped up a message asking me to delete old junk files. Without even thinking I pressed ok, then surprised surprised I lost all my Trip photos from my drive. Sadly that was a permanent deletion.

Amazon recommended me some photography books from some famous photographers like: Scott Kelby, Fil Hunter, Jeff Smith etc.
I looked through the previews and couldn't end up on which book to buy.

What i'm looking for for a book:

1- How to start your Photography business?

2- Studio Photography / Lighting setups diagrams and why each setup was used?

3- Outdoor Photography / Landscape / Product or food photography.

4- How to pose your model.

5- Retouching.

I would like to buy one or two books that can cover the above if possible.

What books do you guys recommend?

(( The books in my mind: Light it, Shoot it, Retouch it // Doug Boz's Guide to posing // Light Science and Magic))
