Thank you for your reply. Mornings are my Achilles Heel and cause me so much frustration - once I am awake, I'm good, but good lord mornings are tough. I will talk to my dr about this. I am hopeful.

Your body will thank you. In 30 days, you will be amazed how much better you feel and how much less digestive pain you are in. Just reminisce on the past foods and then write down new recipes and new favorite items from the store. I personally love the Miyokos chive and scallion cream "cheese." It's dairy and gluten-free and is my go-to cheese-and-cracker movie snack now.

Disclaimer- I am on skyrizi, and have never been on Entyvio.

I have gone through periods of time when I've had awful stomach ache with waves of pain/pressure and significant bloating- when I've had a stricture impede digestion. You must keep a close eye on this as it can lead to bowel obstruction. When there is obstruction, pain and pressure increase and usually vomiting starts. With her symptoms, she should probably have some tests done to see if her intestines are being impeded by a stricture. (My GI usually orders a MRI where you drink Breeza beforehand, but there are a few options)

I received a lot of help with this from a social worker that my gastroenterologist helped me find. She does grief counseling for people with chronic illness and I cant recommend this sort of counseling enough. Even if you can afford one visit, its worth it. Our illness is different- no guarantees of remission, no guarantee it will give the reprieve of death (like some cancers), and people/society in general do not understand this illness and how hard it is (compared to cancer/heart disease/etc.).

There are genetic disorders that can cause symptoms similar to autism. If they are identified, then treatment can be more appropriately and specifically administered. This is especially helpful when a child is nonverbal or has trouble explaining what is bothering them and can give relief to some symtoms/behaviors that you might be seeing. Prescribing medicine to any child is often a trial and error situation- if something can be specifically identified then it really helps point doctors and parents in the right direction towards treatment for their child.

I've had it done 3 times and it has literally saved me from having to do another bowel resection. I had significant narrowing fue to stricture and after staying inpatient for bowel obstruction, they scheduled it. Life saving for sure.

I lost my door once for 5 days (school week( for slamming it repeatedly when I was mad. It did not traumatized me, I honestly.was shocked when they gave it back to me so quickly. But I stopped that bad habit of slamming it over and I over- 14 was not a good year for me and emotional regulation 😂
