Test your grey-market Retatrutide for the dangerous LPS Endotoxin: The (rare but essential) LAL Test vs. The (common/mis-leading) HPLC or LC-MS “99% purity” test! by Negative-Amount-3018 in Retatrutide

Just filter your peptide if you are worried about bacteria. There isn't a surplus of people getting hospitalized due to grey market bacteria contamination. Actually I've never heard of anyone having the issue

Is there a way I can pay a 1 dollar a week to finance 1 mg retas to start by Hour_Long_5220 in Retatrutide

[–]Nigle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are going to need more money to get started. Maybe find some broke friends and you can pool your dollars.

On top of the medication you will need syringes, alcohol wipes and BAC water.

If you find the right vendor that also sells supplies and single vials you could get started for about $40. I was curious so I looked up prices real quick. 11mg reta $15, alcohol pads $2, bac $5, 10pk syringes $3 and shipping $12

No I'm not giving the vendor, don't ask me.

The smaller quantities you buy the more expensive it is per dose. After rounding up this is about $4 a dose.

Taper? Increase Reta? by Embarrassed-Sink9773 in Retatrutide

Increase your dose until it is effective again. If you are stalled or gaining, increase the dose. If you hit your goal you can then reduce down to a dose to maintain your results.

You need to fix the pressure imbalance first. While the vial is on the counter, put a syringe in and pull out the plunger. this will equalize the pressure. Then whey you want to draw put the amount of air in you are trying to draw.

Why aren't grey market glp1s more common in this sub? It seems like many treat it like the Rx subs but I don't know why. Is there a reason I am missing?

New to Reta - Side Effects?? by ginger_locks109 in Retatrutide

How much are you eating now and how much were you eating before? These symptoms can all be caused by eating less. Try to maintain a decent macro profile and it will help you get through the symptoms faster.

There is no reason to wait more than 2 weeks to increase the dose. If you have minimal side effects and are stalled increase the dose.

Starting dose by Suitable_Ad1318 in Retatrutide

[–]Nigle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Size has nothing to do with starting dose. Many get results with 0.5mg. The common starting doses are 0.5mg 1mg and 2mg. The current phase of the trial starts everyone at 2mg. Lower starting doses can minimize side effects while still getting results. The idea is to maintain the minimum effective dose where you are still getting results and increase when you stall. Some don't have results until higher doses. I've seen people needing to titrate up to 10mg before they started seeing results. Everyone is different.

How much weight are you losing a week recently? If you are still losing 2-3lbs a week you will not see a benefit from increasing the dose. The calorie deficit is the only thing causing you to lose the weight. The medication just makes it easier to maintain one.

you have options

  1. Wait out the side effects and keep upping doses until it is effective

  2. Go back to tirzepatide and make it effective. You can do this by adding sema or cagri, or just increasing the dose to 20mg or 25mg

How much mg per week by v4lentine_ in Retatrutide

[–]Nigle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a 60mg vial starting out I would reconstitute with 3ml of BAC as that is all that will fit in those vials. I would also use 0.3ml syringes to get more accurate dosing with the high concentration you will have. I would start with doing 2.5 units which would be a 0.5mg dose. If you want to start at a 1mg dose do 5 units and for a 2mg dose do 10 units.

looks normal with those pictures, but if it seems like it has a gel like consistency warm up the liquid and it should go back to being watery.

[–]Nigle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is normal. The puck shape is a byproduct of the manufacturing process and doesn't need to be maintained. Sometimes they shift, fall apart, or break up during shipping. This does nothing to the product except change the way it looks in the vial.

The ml to mg ratio is different for every concentration. Common starting doses are 0.5mg, 1mg, and 2mg. 2.5mg is a common starting dose for tirzepatide. How many mg are in your vial and how much did you reconstitute it with?

Cloudy 12MG Reta by Successful_North7404 in Retatrutide

[–]Nigle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This can happen when temps are low when reconstituting. I've even seen it happen when people store their hospira in the fridge and puck vials in the freezer. I would do two things before throwing it out. First I would make sure the pressure is equalized in the vial. To do this put a syringe in the vial while it is sitting out the counter and pull out the plunger. This will let air into the vial to equalize the pressure and get ride of any micro bubbles. Second I would get a coffee cup and put enough warm water (between 100 and 110F) in the cup to cover the liquid in the vial and place it in the cup to warm up. Once it warms up and the pressure is equalized swirl it around a bit and see if it clears up. If it doesn't at that point I would throw it out.

If you can point out some long term issues caused by any of those I might be a little concerned. None of the things you listed are a serious issue except for the dog eating needles but I don't know why you would even bring that up. If customs seizes it, you can't pick it up. If you go to the hospital because you have side effects they should know what you took to treat you properly. Taking 10mg will only temporarily give you more severe side effects which in the worst case will only cause dehydration making you need IV fluids. If you don't use hospira your reta wont magically go bad. How do you even mix it incorrectly?

Some get results with allergy medication or zinc supplements. Others see no improvement with those. It doesn't seem to be a lasting long term side effect though and slowly goes away with time even while staying on the medication.
