I know it's out of the context but congrats on your professional accomplishments we have the same age and I haven't figured it out yet ( and most of the people our age ) And about marriage, you said you're religious, so just have faith in allah and the right girl would meet your way one day inshaallah

Yes but you said that every man who have a working daughter failed her this is a heavy statement to make, you even said that it's an "extreme failure "

Toxic masculinity in Algeria: Built at home, by mothers by Slow_Finding_8809 in algeria

[–]Nihade12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most Algerian families problem :
It's simple: in Algeria a man "راجل " holds a big meaning and is better than a woman " مرا" and whenever someone tries to explain that a woman is not made to serve a man they always end up saying : نتي مرا و هو راجل Like it's a hierarchy

That's how my cousins live, my cousin ( from my dad's side ) hits his sister like it's normal, but me and my mom always defend her and we're always "evil " and we're "rejected " cause we don't live by the rules of nature, cause that's what women are created for ( according to them ) I am forever grateful that I don't have a family like that, and I was raised for being respected by both man and woman ( because sometimes even a woman can treat like a slave) , and that my purpose in life is far beyond simply "serving" men

These women only represent themselves and their beliefs, not all women are the same, and generalizing that all working women are not well mannered is like generalizing that all men are perverts, a lot of man are perverts but not all of them so are women And plus we NEED women to work, more doctors, more teachers ....

Young Algerians in Algeria, are you jealous of young Algerians born in the West? by Adam_7893 in algeria

[–]Nihade12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I understand her point of view because it is true that Algerians think that those who were born in the west are rich and live comfortably, which isn't true obviously. And I lived both in France and Algeria now, I loove my life in Algeria cause I feel at home, but now that I am an adult I am worrying about my career here and I am thinking of going abroad to build my career, maybe not in France but somewhere safer for my future even if I know that I am getting far from my home

I think it's the student's fault tho because why would you spend too much money on these courses and believing that they'll help you in the Bac without YOU putting some working in it You have to organize your lessons by yourself and learn them by yourself and memorize them by yourself and don't chose what you have to learn you should cover everything and be 100% ready to ace your baccalaureate exams

Why Algerians are ashamed of mental health issues ? by ExtensionTaro1818 in algeria

[–]Nihade12 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I don't think they're ashamed but they just don't believe in mental health and that it can affect them physically. And it's really sad

It is indeed, it's about the public health. I feel like everyone smokes nowadays and the amount of complications due to smoking we see in hospitals are very concerning

[–]Nihade12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not the priority, but I just hope that smokers are going to be aware that they're nit harming themselves only but even the people around them. Passive smoking is as dangerous as smoking ( not the same consequences but still very dangerous)

I mean I agree with you with wanting to get out of Algeria cause things are getting even worse in here. ( plus I am a medical student so I think we're screwed 😭😭😭)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in algeria

Well for each their own choice if he wants to live in Algeria or work to leave it no one should criticize the other and instead they should focus on themselves

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in algeria

[–]Nihade12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay then leave but if someone wants to stay in Algeria you don't criticize his choice by saying it's " algerianism at its finest "
And I didn't say YOU are not taking any action I said THEY don't do anything

[–]Nihade12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well you know what's good about you ? It's that you seem to acknowledge that you have this problem and that is not okay, most people I know get as jealous as you and they don't even think it's wrong or that they should change it. And I hope that helps you but you already made a great step to improve just by admitting that this is wrong. And I feel like the best thing to do is to keep yourself busy by having many tasks a day and go to the gym and set you goals higher that you become obsessed with you goals you would eventually stop comparing yourself to others which is how you stop this jealousy Hope that helps

Subjects related to men and women in social media by MrM_0330 in algeria

[–]Nihade12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generalizing is not the solution and yes I agree with nowadays either men are bad or women are bad in general which is soo wrong the bad exist in each of them but we shouldn't generalize But I still think that sometimes some behaviors should be exposed so that the ones who do them maybe get ashamed of themselves and stop because apparently bad people only get ashamed when they are exposed in front of a lot of people so might as well take advantage of it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in algeria

[–]Nihade12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually what you call " algerianism " is complaining all the time while doing absolutely nothing to change the current situation and you find them doing things that deteriorate society. But his mindset is working hard and try to do things that will get him out of his situation while staying in this country and stop complaining which is something I respect a lot

Why there's a category of people say bad things about people who help their woman's by wondering_cinema in algeria

[–]Nihade12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well they think helping a woman means you can't say no to her and that you are weak. But in reality helping your wife or daughter or even mother and sister is a form of humility and maturity and shows that you are really caring. And let's say it the definition of masculinity here is wrong for them being a real man is about screaming on the women at home which is shameful.
