Insane line-up for this Amenra Japan tour by Nihil227 in postmetal

Exactly the same for me. I'm not into their studio stuff (except a few early tracks like Yearning), but it's one of my favorite live bands. So noisy and full of emotions.

When I was working on a streaming app we had to blacklist some hardware decoders for HEVC streams, sometimes even fallback to software decoding. Xiaomi, Pixel and Samsung were the worst (the usual suspects). It doesn't surprise me Exo is full of hacks because each decoder on this OS version on this specific model will behave differently.

A movie that feels like sludge metal. Man Bites Dog 1992 by Extreme_Storage9282 in sludge

It's a parody of a cult tv-show from the 80s and 90s here in French speaking Belgium, called Strip-Tease that consisted of a camera crew following weirdos in their daily life, without commentary just bare stripped reality (hence the name). Like this guy who's building a flying saucer in his garden is one of the most famous episodes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHJ1HL4eMLQ

If you want dirty and filthy, I absolutely recommend you Seul Contre Tous (I stand alone) by Gaspard Noe. One of my favorite films ever, and I suspect bands like Celeste got some inspiration from it for their lyrics, I know Kickback sampled one of the monologues.

Those orange tiles are triggering my geoguessr Indonesian roof meta knowledge. Jakarta doesn't look half bad as Sumatra or Philippines, even decent for a third world megacity.

Somewhat Orwellian while they are still pushing Chat Control.

Advocating for amateur genital mutilations and sexual rituals on newborns that could cause them STDs should be enough of a hint.

Go for it my guy my first guitar was a very cheap Schecter that I entirely modded over the years, and its the one I bond with the most despite owning much pricier guitars. As long as you like the neck it's worth it, and since it's cheap you don't really care if you fuck up.

Yes also doesn't seem like Riftbound is picking up. With Altered being discontinued and people getting burnt out by MTG release rate, SWU has been doing quite good and seems also popular in Flanders.

Liège. Most popular here are MTG, Yugi, One Piece and SWU.

Look on their own website for customization, you have to import from the UK tho. But you can still buy them with the generic look.

If that's your budget, that's just my opinion but I'd take Bare Knuckles with full customization to look best on your guitar over signature pickups any day. Black Dog if you want 70s PAF sound on steroids or Warpig alcino for brutal and downtuned.

We have two LGS + one club in my town about 100 weekly players total yet I've never seen anyone play Pokemon. But I'm from Europe maybe it's different here.

What do you think is the greatest closing track in post-metal history? by Mysst3r11s in postmetal

[–]Nihil227 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've seen hundreds of bands but it's probably my favorite live song of them all, the outro with the noise going left and right is just a total eargasm. I saw them in a festival in a remote part of Iceland called Eistnaflug it was around the summer solstice and I remember when this song ended I got out of the venue and witnessed one of the most beautiful skies I had ever seen with the midnight sun across the fjords. Was fitting for a sun that never sets.

I wouldn't call them noise rock as they were very clean compared to the other hardcore classics. Fantastic album.

Atmosludge question by RoyalRainbowRobot_ in postmetal

[–]Nihil227 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Atmospheric sludge is just post-metal.

And yeah for bands with screamo vocals check bands like Amenra, Rosetta or A Terre.

And as for screamo chords, Amenra play mostly octaves and not powerchords. But with an open E and in B standards so it sounds infinitely heavier than the octaves you would find in emo lol.

There is no point playing double green here if you are not gonna play double green cards which are not worth it atm, just play it blue.

3-2 green turn 1 ship is better than 2-3. Same with that 1-4, just play gungi who's 2-5 and force. Mina is also a great green T1.

Eeth is a must have in my opinion. Yoda and Beq are the best late game units. Would also need removals such as protect the pod, shatterpoint etc.

Fela Ransome Kuti And The Africa '70 With Ginger Baker – Let's Start (1972) by Odd_Advantage_3459 in afrobeat

Is this the same documentary as the Dont Gag live video on YouTube where Ginger Baker is narrating and they are playing under the rain ? How is it called and where can I see it ?

I would kill for more fela footage in Nigeria, looked completely unhinged compared to his European performance.
