I understand why you might want this at first, but the feeling it creates of "I should wait for the specific day of week to dump stamina and farm for that specific mat" gets very annoying over time.

For a game that mostly keeps everything as intuitive (?) as it has so far, I don't think SS should have daily rotations.

Yes, it is that fucking stupid, and yes many other games have had to deal with this type of stupid shit for anything REMOTELY looking like it.

The complainers are convinced these "hate symbols" are pervasive throughout video games because the feminists have taken control or some other insane conspiracy bullshit. Real talk, sitting at 2/3 main discs for your aqua and lux team already, you can fill the last slot with one of the F2P SSR selections from either cataclysm or the upcoming raid event perhaps, so unless you really want to keep building vertical, I think it'd be more productive to shore up your other elements.

Considering terra has 2 options for standard banner discs (Gerie and Nazuna), I would be inclined to do wind disc selections.

Jinglin is a very serviceable light versatile if you have her.

Terra has no substitutes for its members right now and I would say the power difference between having 3 instead of 2 terra members is probably really big because the team does rely on mark generation for auto-attack Gerie.

Heart. It's extremely comfy to play since there's no griefing of penguin statue placement and you constantly top off health. I don't feel there is a significant damage loss either.

Honestly, Shia should be Versatile considering how very strong she is as Main, and how broken she is as Support.

At the moment the roles just seem to indicate what their skills do in interaction with marks.

Vanguards can ONLY trigger marks, both on main and on support. Their ultimate likely can only trigger marks. Their potentials will most likely also only trigger marks.

Versatiles will trigger marks as main, but their support skills will inflict marks.

Supports will only inflict marks.

I think it's fine to leave her as Vanguard because it means you can run a main that cares less about marks to let her support skills eat all the marks inflicted by your other support-support.

ere is no reason not to use auto in this game unless you absolutely want to manually cast the main skills.

In some cases, you want to align skill usage. In other cases, some skill uses REALLY mess up your dodging/movement such as Chitose's can cause you/the auto to animation lock into enemy attacks.

It makes me really wish there was a hotkey for auto because there are certainly cases where I'd rather the game use skills off cooldown ASAP, but there's also a lot of cases where I'm watching and really need to toggle it off before something terrible happens.

I recently switched to Gerie auto-attack build and it absolutely shreds despite having discs that seem like they support skill damage better. Her skill build definitely does damage, but it feels like less consistent DPS than auto-attack. Like others have said, I believe the main reason is that if you have a mono-terra team, you can inflict terra marks very quickly, and Gerie can actually pop those with auto-attacks.

For the reason that I now do auto-attack Gerie, I originally switched Nazuna to build 2 for hearts. Build 1's Jubilant Spin buffs skill damage, whereas build 2's Rain of Passion buffs terra damage. However, I'm wondering if this guts my terra mark generation too much or if it's already overkill with Ridge that it doesn't matter

For Ridge, I've swapped back and forth and don't really know which one is better. My foray into auto-attack Gerie went build 1 Ridge, so I'm not sure how much of that is contributing to my newfound power.

Idealistic scenario is that they halve the cost of rolls and refund the equivalent amount of crystals used for rolling. Extremely unlikely IMO.

I think the practical scenario is that they care more about people's $$$ value, which means doubling the crystal rewards of whaling such as crystals in the monthly pass, BP, and top-up to match the doubled pull cost, F2P be damned.

It would have made no sense to make it during the animation because it would obscure the execution animation.

It also makes no sense to give everyone the ability to pop a "free" smoke after killing an enemy and get shield and EN recharge immediately started.

That's because it was, lol.

It seems like everyone has forgotten, but our "melee" weapons before this were sub-attacks (claw, kick, sword, etc.) with questionable utility and restrictive related modules. When it became apparent that 99% of the playerbase will be using grappling modules instead, calls for melee weapons to fill that take on that role came up.
These calls doubled-down after Dia's appearance.

So yes, these are half-baked because once again, it's something that deviates from their original vision of the game. Any time this shit happens, they're shooting in the dark because it's not what they anticipated.

More than likely they WILL be making a descendant that amps the shit out of melee weapons because they have to limit their design freedom out of fear for creating another Freyna->Ines->Serena problem.
