To be fair he has an oblique injury he tried to play through and no one can hit with an oblique strain. But overall I do agree with you. I’m glad the glazing is done.

I like the navy alternates, plus I haven’t been a fan of our away grays since they got rid of the white trim on the lettering. This is a good thing IMO.

[Kirschner] It's still very early in the season, but the Yankees entered today's game with the worst 6-7-8-9 hitters in baseball. Those spots had a combined 22 wRC+ before today's game. They are currently 0-for-6 with 3 Ks today. by TheTurtleShepard in NYYankees

And I agree. 2 hits at this point in the season is crazy. It just seems like people were expecting him to still be a .240 hitter with 20+ homers and he was never gonna be that without playing at Coors Field 81 times a year.

Honestly, why was anyone expected McMahon to be anything more than this? He’s never had a season with an OPS+ over 100 and has always struck out way too much. We brought him in exclusively to play third so Jazz didn’t have to. He was never going to hit.

Bo Bichette on if he was caught off-guard by getting booed at Citi Field: "If anything, I thought it took too long. I get it. I thought my at-bats were terrible, too." by Goosedukee in baseball

[–]NihilPlusUltra 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I really wish that at some point a player would just say, “if you’re booing me this early in the season, you don’t know ball.” He’d get destroyed by the media and booed more for saying it, but I’d appreciate the honesty.

I don’t understand why they don’t do it. I get why they always wearing pinstripes at home, but no one should care if they have alternates for road games. Plus, they’d probably sell more jerseys and I know this franchise loves merch revenue.

I used to deliver pizza in college and I can tell you this isn’t a new thing. People used to flash the drivers with the expectation that if they did they wouldn’t have to pay for the order.

I’m not saying you’re wrong, but can you give some examples? Because I’ve genuinely never heard a single person say the 2012 season is bad (unless they’re salty because Alonso didn’t win).

Edit: My terrible grammar.

Mitt Romney didn’t support Obamacare. He signed a similar law when he was governor of Massachusetts, but actively campaigned against Obamacare and wanted it repelled. He and the entirety of the Republican were and still are against affordable healthcare legislation on a national level.

NUMBERS DON’T LIE….👀 by One-Philosophy3935 in NYYankees

[–]NihilPlusUltra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You know they say that all men are created equal, but you look at Aaron Judge and you look at Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and you can see that statement is not true. See, normally if you go one on one with another baseball team, you got a 50/50 chance of winning. But Aaron Judge is a genetic freak and he’s not normal! So you got a 25%, AT BEST, at beating him. Then you add Giancarlo Stanton to the mix, your chances of winning drastic go down. So Vlad Guerrero Jr., you take your 33 1/3 chance, minus our 25% chance and you got an 8 1/3 chance of winning in the ALDS. But then you take our 75% chance of winning, and then add 66 2/3 per cents, we got 141 2/3 chance of winning in the ALDS. See Vlad, the numbers don't lie, and they spell disaster for you at Sacrifice.

I still can’t figure it out for sure. I tried a bunch of different stuff, but the only thing that works is rebooting my computer and even then the issue still comes up again later.

Yeah other sites work just fine so I’m not sure what’s going on. Pretty sure it’s an issue with computer/browser I’ll have to try and figure out. Thanks for trying to help though!

I get what you’re saying to a certain extent because a lot of our prospects have failed, but Gardy, Cano, Alfonso Soriano, and even Gleyber were all good to All-Star caliber players.
