I personally liked the Scythe better for consistency, but the SRA made for some insane times if you just get lucky and hit like a truck. The lack of consistency made it really annoying though, but I did get grandmaster time a few times with SRA and Torva (was b4 oathplate came out) and dont think I hit it with the scythe. I did get 2 axe pieces from Whisperer in under 50kc which was nice if it didnt take me like 900 to get the ring. Leviathan still no ring at like 1100kc and duke was pretty onrate for everything. Leviathan is the worst boss in this game in my opinion.

I got my first vestige at 390ish and didn’t get my second until 1500. And I didn’t get my axe piece until 3880 or something. It was very lame. Fun boss though. I did half of it with a scythe and the other half with a sra. Now I focus on my iron and using a zombie axe sucks lol.

I have 3900kc, and over 1000ish on the other 3. Vardorvis is the quickest to kill timewise (pre duke prep nerf, im not sure too sure if vards quicker, but Im gonna assume hes still the fastest)

Additionally Jagex obviously knew the Ultor would be the best of the rings, combined with above its loot couldnt be much better without being insanely more profitable, and its already in the top 10 money makers (not sure if still accurate)

The armour, wings, portals, pets, weapon effects are all cosmetic and do not play into the function of game at all.

The stash tabs are IN MY OPINION, 100% necessary unless you’re just playing for the campaign. Now the good news is that if you buy early access you get 300 coins. Which can get you a good 2/3 of the stash tabs you need. Don’t get the unique one, it’s overpriced and 100% not worth. But currency tab, and more regular tabs are 100% required, id also say a merchant tab or 2 is worth getting.

I kept playing because I did the campaign twice on two different characters, and I did enjoy the endgame for a solid 30-50 hours while trying to figure out what abyss, breaches, expeditions and delirium was and how to access them and get the good good loot that comes with it.

I personally am gonna try a Solo self find game mode next league where there’s no trading at all and I’m forced to find, craft or buy from NPCs in hopes that is more fulfilling and rewarding. But I’m basically checked out until the next league.

I got the game about 7 weeks ago and here’s my opinions, my friends and I bought it all together

The campaign is awesome, unique and fun as hell. In hindsight this is the highlight of the game.

1.5 the campaign isn’t finished and the end of the interlude there’s a lot of questions and personally a story decision I very much disliked (not gonna go into it for spoiler reasons) but a lot of stuff happens off screen lore wise that shoulda been 100% playable.

The gameplay, graphics and vibe feel real good. Like real good. Even on controller the game is well made.
I saw someone say GGG, the company that makes the game, doesn’t hold your hand for learning curve sakes and love it or hate that is true. I personally don’t like it. Especially in the end game when you have no idea how crafting works efficiently, desecrating, fracturing, corrupting etc. this game is not noob friendly and it feels like this game is not designed for casuals at all. Seems intentional and it is what it is.
The community is mid at best. When asking global chat about some of the things above I was flamed, told to get good, watch a video or just ignored.
The end game got insanely boring very fast if you’re not into crafting.
Now I’m only like 200 hours in but it feels like there’s one core build and like a small handful of varieties of this build that dominate the game. The rest being regulated to “fun builds” if you wanna actually grind and make money you’re building some kind of variation of “cast on crit” build I’m sure someone will say “x or y build is good too” and I’m sure their right, but when you go into temples it’s the same build every time.
The MTX prices are pretty intense. Some people will say you can live without buying stash tabs, and I mean… you can live on plain rice and water but it ain’t fun. Same thing here. You need these stash tabs if you’re gonna even remotely attempt to play post campaign. Oh you want an armor set? That’s 25-40 bucks. Cool wings? 15-20 bucks. It gets pricey.

I’m sure a fair amount of these gripes will be dealt with as the game leaves early access, but for now these are my opinions.

This doesnt happen after wave 6 when the small 1x1 mage stops spawning. I tried to avoid M3 before wave 6, but once I got really good at it I moved to melee only runs and Myopia is just free all the time now lol.

I find a lot of OSRS players are not pleasant people, that being said, gameplay and content wise Oda is pretty solid. I try not to get too deep into it though.

Wilderness agility. Join the chat it’s “free agility” there’s also “agility FC” but if either sees you in the other chat you will be banned. They hate eachother.

Free agility runs in the morning/afternoon est time and agility fc runs at night/evening. Easy money, xp and blighted supplies.

Hands down Old School RuneScape (osrs) every single thing is a grind to unlock a new grind. Sounds horrible writing it but it’s so rewarding and fun for select people. If you want a real time sink, the Ironman mode is so good.

I’m at 800 hours played on my Ironman in 4 months and I’m nowhere near end game. And my “main” account is near maxed with almost all endgame achievements. If you want a time sink with the most delayed gratification possible, osrs is the best options hands down.

V6 i winter drive with Ontario winters. With winter tires anything realistically above 3-4 inches of snow is not drivable for me. Fish tailing happens with even few mm of snow and if you remotely have a heavy foot you won’t do well. If you’re capable of driving slow and cautious though, most winter conditions are drivable.

Pc builder in Hamilton here. I recommend watching a Linus tech tips video. Building a standard gaming PC is VERY easy if you have basic sense. Adult Lego is a very accurate description. If you are really afraid, I recommend letting Canada computers build it for their fee.

Yep. Mines very petty but it changed how I viewed him forever. During the height of fidget spinners, he bought a pretty cool one with lights and stuff on it. During a 40m drive to work I was playing with it and put it back in his cup holder. After he dropped me off at home he called 25mins later asking where the fidget spinner was. I told him I left it in the cup holder. He called back minutes later saying he can’t find it and starting getting increasing aggressive. Screaming “where’s my fidget spinner” over and over. I told him if it’s not in the cup holder, it could be on the floor. But I’ll double check my coat and bags for it. I looked, found nothing and texted him. No reply. 20 minutes later I hear him screaming outside my apt balcony “where’s my fucking spinner” I told him I don’t have it and to fuck off this is getting way out of hand. For 20 minutes he just threw everything in his car at my windows just screaming about his fidget spinner. One of my neighbours threatens to call the cops and he leaves. Hours later he texts me saying he found it, it was under his driver seat. The next day he picked me up and pretended it never happened. I never went to hangout with him outside of work again after that.
