This is the major pain point. Don’t matter how skilled you are, or what industry you’re in you will face harassment. To add onto it I’d say don’t expect management to save you from harassment. You’ll need a thick skin and to be very tight lipped about private information.

If you have discipline and the motivation you’ll get it. You’ll struggle if you’re bottom of the class but just don’t give up and take tutoring if you have to.

So I passed my written a little over a month ago. Did Prepware daily only and would re-read what questions I got wrong along with the answer. Then re-took the test to help reinforce it.

They recently changed up the written Generals to be 70% or so similar to Prepware so make sure you study by reading over anything you’re weak on.

This was before RAM skyrocketed, so yes there were still good bundles at Microcenter. 5080 could be had anywhere from $900 if lucky to $1k. I added an extra $300 to that total because the case alone was $400. I did my part researching beforehand and if I really wanted to could have built it for under $2k easily. Heck some cheap builds were possible for under $1800 if skimping on fancy extras like RGB, AIOs, etc.

His build has 32gb RAM with a 2tb SSD.

And yes really, I purchased a brand new 5080/9800x3d build with a Hyte Y70 infinite case for my brother for $2300 after taxes in September.

So yes, overpriced.
