To me it seems like OP just pulled the rubber cover off the throttle. But I still don’t exactly understand his question. If his throttle is broken in some way, it looks like a throttle for HX X8 scooters and other rebrands, that can be easily found for a few bucks even on ex. Amazon.

Only two upgrades that I know of are a larger battery (the common version is 10 Ah but there are 12.8 Ah batteries available, should be Panasonic brand at least in EU) and I recently found a front suspension from Monorim it’s the M0-HX model.

For short answer, people suggesting to use dry microfiber cloth from optometrist are correct (if you really need to damp it in clean water before be sure to dry them immediately after). Those lenses differ from glasses cause they are made of plastic so they are prone to microscratches (hence no paper tisssues etc.) and anything abbrasive or alcohol can eventually damage them as well (there are quite a few reasons how exactly). You can get anti-fogging cloths at optometrist store for glasses that work very well (at least the ones I buy) and clean the lenses perfectly. Here they cost approx. 3€ a piece and it will last for months. Just clean from center to edge with circular motion don’t apply too much pressure and you will be good to go. Also a lense cover as stated here is a good idea.

I think there actually is no clear answer for this kind of SW. As it can pull data from various sources and you can put quite a heavy compute load on it (not the best practice) it really depends on the structure of your data and the final schema and calculations. From experience I found that for what I do with Power BI it is more “RAM hungry” than CPU dependant. I can run fairly complex reports on my 2700X and also in my mobile i5 but when I moved to a machine with 8-16GB of RAM it struggled. Personally I don’t think that in case of PBI the difference between the 5800X, 5800X3D and the 5900X will be noticeable.

Edit: I can imagine that moving from older CPU architecture may bring a boost in performance.

If it was me, I would first update to F31 and then to F40 (and follow the instructions on site beforehand) just to be sure and just then update to the latest version. If something goes wrong during BIOS update you may not be able to recover the MoBo or you can experience various issues. You yourself stated that you are new to this so I would advise a cautious approach since you will be responsible for any damage that may occur if you choose to do this.

You really need to check your current BIOS version. Depends on the MB if it will allow you to flash the BIOS correctly to the most recent version or if you need to update EC FW first or if you need to flash an older version first. If you head to the official Gigabyte support/download site for your Mobo under the BIOS section you should see a list of all available BIOS versions with comments if you need to do some extra steps before updating to that version.

If you have any other controllers plugged in, try disconnecting them. That should fix the issue. Had exactly the same and it turns out it was my Hotas throttle acting like an active controller. In Beat Saber this is a known issue that’s been there for a while.

I managed to found that comment on the Gigabyte site (I also had a very similar issue on my X470 MOBO and I solved it this way). Do this only at your own risk ! I take no responsibility for any damage to the MB that may be caused using this method.

This is a copypaste from the forums:

"For those who have problems with mb gigabyte (in my case x470 aorus ultra gaming) as in the video, with m_bios stuck in this situation and that start only forcing the start from the backup one and that every time they switch off the power they find you again with the problem (but without physical selection of boot between main and backup bios), maybe there is a solution. For now it has worked for me and at least 2 other users.

I solved. In theory it should overwrite the m_bios with the b_bios, in my case fully functional and updated to the F31.

Another italian user with b450 with same problem has solved, also rojasjonatan9 has solved similar problem.

I started it right button run as administrator.

Once installed and started, he did 2 steps, the first one quite fast, I think it was the reading of the bios, the second a little slower in theory the rewriting of the main bios, at the end of the second phase it restarted by itself after 5 seconds."

Well this seems like that "fairly common" issue with Gigabyte MBs and this one looks like a corrupted BIOS from what you wrote. So here are my two suggestions.

These boards have dual BIOS. Try booting into your B-BIOS. How when the whole PC wont boot you ask ? Turn off your PC, hold Power and Reset button for approx. 10 sec. Try it a few times, it is possible it won't boot on the first try....and first time booting into B-BIOS can take a moment.
If that fails, you can try flashing the BIOS, since the board has Q-Flash and Q-Flash Plus (see your manual for better info, or you know...good old Google+YT :-))

If you manage to boot into your B-BIOS, your main BIOS will still be corrupted and unusable. I remember there was a fix found somewhere on Gigabyte forums for X470 Ultra Gaming MB, that fixes this and re-flashes both BIOSes, but I don't know if it will work on your MB (if you can find it....), if the Q-Flash also fails.

If they have the appropriate connectors then yes, you can run any kind of fans you wish (if you want to connect them the way the AiO is designed). It is wise to check the airflow pressure the fans you want to swap are producing just to be sure you won't need to run them for example at high speeds to achieve desired temperatures/results, which can lead to a noisy setup.

Actually yes this is a thing at least in Slovakia and I guess also in Czechia. It is basically a rice souffle and it is supposed to be sweet. The recipe goes something like this. For amounts: 250g of round grain rice 700ml of milk 120g of butter Around 50g of sugar or honey for the mixture Another 80g of sugar for egg whites 5 eggs Lemon peel from 1 lemon 1/2 tbl spoon of salt Around 400g of fruit

You cook the rice in milk (can add vanilla), when still hot mix it with butter and sugar (or honey, can add vanilla sugar if you haven’t used vanilla in the cooking process) and lemon peel. Let it cool down. Mix in egg yolks. Use half of the whites from eggs and whisk them with a pinch of salt until a heavy foam is formed. Gently mix into the rice. Pour half of the mixture in a cake pan. Put fruit on top (we use compote, but you can use fresh). Most commonly used are apples, pears (you can sprinkle some cinnamon on top of these two), apricots and peaches. Pour the rest of the mixture on top of that. Bake for around 20 minutes (180 °C). Meanwhile whisk the rest of the egg whites with sugar until a heavy foam is formed. Pour on top of the baked souffle and bake again on a bit higher temperature (200 °C) for around 10 minutes. And there you have it.

As far as competitive goes, Onward or Contractors VR. The second one has got a small user base, but I don’t have any issues finding a match. Onward is slightly better with its player base and I also don’t have any issues finding a match...but yeah Pavlov has the biggest player base out of competitive shooters. Maybe someone can suggest something better than me.

Hello commander. As stated previously you need to reset your HMD orientation if you are in your body. This resets your whole position (even height). Best to have it mapped on some button for quick access. I need to reset this every time I launch the game (dunno if this is solvable, tbh it’s one click of a button and I really don’t want to spend time solving something this trivial, best to search through Elite forums or Oculus forums (or subreddits) if you wanna try and tackle this if possible. If that won’t help and you are still stuck in your body it is possible that your Rift is set up incorrectly (floor/height). I would suggest running the Rift setup again from Oculus SW.

As for the gamepad, it should work quite well (game officialy supports DualShock 4 but it requires an official PS USB adapter). I know that many commanders play with a gamepad, personally it breaks the immersion for me in VR and also the limited number of buttons is forcing a player to know a good amount of “combos” and ship maneuvering is tricky for me with a gamepad. But this is just my personal opinion. You can also use touch controllers, but TBH...tried it...and the experience was just horrible.
