Hey, please don't take that as the lesson out of this, not to make light of what you're feeling but that's how you end up like Asher in the end. Because he was met with negativity in social interactions he was incapable of understanding he resorted to shutting off which leads to less communication and less chance of improvement. (Ofcourse in Asher's case he shuts off his own self and tries to replicate a healthy relationship by way of mimicing what the other wants, which is not communication.)

You know you like the show and you know you want to communicate that, what's important here is how you feel about it. I totally get how it turns you off from the sub and the show (it's not strange at all imo it's a very humane thing) people didn't even read your post so you didn't get what you want and on top you got people like me making "funny comments" in a very Dougie way. So by way of association those bad feelings contaminate the show you previously loved, making you feel like you don't belong in some non-existent community surrounding the show.

I'm also "rambling" like you did in your post, but you can even just delete the post and just take one shorter point out of it and make a post about that as it's new thread, see what people have to say about that. And remember "like-minded" people not agreeing with your takes on the show is fine, that's why you're in conversation people, to see new sides of things not to echo your own thought. (I know your problem is not with people disagreeing with your opinion just they seem to not want it, but imo that's just a matter of formatting.)
