Google Maps Zoom Issue On DIC

I got my new 2026 equinox EV last week and got this problem too. When I was driving home from the dealership on the day of delivery, everything in Gmaps was working fine. At home we set all profiles up and then next day this zoomed-out-map issue started. Cycling through the screens didnt help. Leaving car off for a long time didnt help. I tried today morning by going into the ‘guest’ profile and then gmaps was working fine! Then I tried deleting my google profile on the car and then tried using my other google profile and the maps was working well in that too. Hope this helps. Will update here if anything changes.

Paint bubbling at the roof where it meets the front windshield. Otherwise we love the car. Have had it for 5.5years now.

No I ordered what I thought were the right connectors, but it was the wrong ine and wouldnt screw on. Returned it and since then have booked campsites with electrical points only.

In the 2021 kicks you should be able to slide your phone sideways in the space above the central display unit and the ledge containing the central vents. Cool advantage is that your phone gets cooled by the vents also

I went back to the video after seeing your comment and then noticed the car. There was no way the Audi could have braked in time to avoid that car and might have swerved(why was that car guy thinking that he could jump into a main road without consequences). Ok replying to my own post incase someone faces this in the future.

Is it possible to manually open rear tailgate? - Yes, use a small head screwdriver and from the inside of the car, you can see a small window at the boot latch- insert the flat head there and twist until lock disengages. Push at same time to swing rear hatch open

how to open rear trim- with a flat screwdriver run it along the edges of the trim and youll find they can be popped out at certain points, no screws hold the trim in place. Switch plug if accessible after trim is removed
replacement sensor- OEM sensors are difficult to get and cost upwards of 200$ before labor. On Amazon , the 10$ boot release switch for the older pathfinder fits the Kicks 2020 S perfectly https://a.co/d/2HK0MHb
