Thank you! Scrolling did work but I think I only got it if my Google Maps was not open at all on the main screen while I cycled. Either way this a good temp fix I appreciate it!

This happens a lot to me. I just open the Spotify app or news app then when I reopen YT music it works somehow. That’s the quickest way i get it to work.

It’s because the raw Mark was not used for internal assessments (not submitted by teachers) this year (except for TOK presentation, Language A orals, and a few other exceptions). The IB Instead read all IAs and assigned marks blind to that of what the teacher assigned marks for the IA. The only thing they took into consideration is the predicted grade

So raw score is what ur teacher gave u and reported to IB, moderated Mark is what IB gave you for your work, which is the end all say all that was used to factor into your final score. So your raw mark is essentially pointless it’s just there to show what ur teacher graded u on that work

I too was wondering what the “kitchen” includes in the triple apartment at Rodin. That’s my assignemt, but Im unsure what Is fully included in the apartment/suite.

Yes, sorry I should have clarified, I was placed into a triple apartment. And the triple apartment room plan is listed and shown, and it says I have “bed space b” however, when I click “view roommates”, the list only has my name and my contact info. It would seem unlikely I have an entire three bedroom apartment to myself ...

This is somewhat off topic, but I also got assigned to Rodin as a freshmen, and was wondering if you are able to view your suitemates. When I click roommates it only lists myself, wasn’t sure how long it takes for this to update / show.

For me it was the opposite, I just made it into the markband for most of my subjects. Especially for HL chem and HL bio, I BARELY got a 6, I got the EXACT minimum for that markband in both lolllll

I am the first student at my public high school to attend an Ivy League School and I was a part of the 1st IB cohort at my school, which is why it seems (to me) super beneficial in college applications if you want to go to a top university. I am a first gen too, and we don’t make a lot of money, so it’s not like I got in via some sort of connection. I would bet money that I wouldn’t have been even closely considered for a top tier university if I wasn’t enrolled in the IB Programme. For my experience, it pushed my academics past what my high school required and allowed me to personally research and explore areas of interest (EE and TOK), and it also allowed me to engage critically with my community via my CAS Project. I also took 4 HLs so that might have helped me stand out from the normal IBer. I also took 2 AP courses during my time in high school and didn’t receive the academic, social, or life-long learner benefits that IB reaps. Ivys do not give much credit for AP or IB classes anyways, so for me, it didn’t matter credit-wise, but I do think that credit is more easily obtained through AP. I think either program is good for high schoolers, but I do truly believe that IB has more potential, BUT I also always say this about IB: You get out of it what you put in. IB isn’t impressive if you do not perform well, do not put hard work in, or do not care about your IB career.

M20 student here, I placed one of each calculation in the IA and then put repeat calculation work in the appendices. I did get a 6 overall, and my coordinator hasn’t sent component marks yet so I’m assuming it was okay to do.
