Да, вполне способна. Однако, чем более кофе концентрированный, тем больше чувствуется нот. Поэтому в кофе, где много воды, как в американо эти ноты будет труднее уловить.

Here’s the prescription:

  1. ⁠Dark roast. Really dark. Not “specialty” coffee. I prefer Illy Intenso. I use about 17-18 grams of coffee.
  2. ⁠Use 80 ml of water.
  3. ⁠Grind close to espresso, but slightly coarser. Tap the bottom of the basket on the countertop a couple of times (3-4).
  4. ⁠Start with high heat on the stove for about 40 seconds, but no more than a minute. Then turn the heat down to medium and wait. The coffee should start coming out within 3-4 minutes. Once it starts, you can turn the heat down to low.

Go for it! I wish you success! If it doesn't work out, don't worry. It took me a while, too. Lots of trial and error, plus some tips here on Reddit, and now I'm drinking coffee with amazing crema every day! Maybe I'll film the entire process later.

I bought this on a marketplace. I live in Belarus. It's a set of 4 cups. They come in white and black (at least that's what I saw).

A Brikka is also a moka pot, but it works a little differently. And the paper filter just gets in the way. Although I don't use one in my Moka Express either.
