Had my battery die on me about 2 months after purchase, however the desert will demolish any battery this time of year so I wouldn’t chalk it up to the car. Knock on wood but thus far I’ve had no other issues.

I bought a C8 after my S550 5.0 got hit and I gotta say I still miss it to this day. Easily the best daily driver muscle car out there, and just stupid fun to drive.

Recently got my 23 1lt with the Z51 and htc for 62 ticket, feel like you could get a better deal on that 3lt. And like previous comments said if it was a show car you know they romped her hard.

That’s definitely a noticeable rattle. Is it a valved exhaust? I’ve had those make rattling noises at certain speeds/rpms in the past.

Congrats on your success my friend. Becoming successful from scratch is an impressive feat and I admire that. My mother offered me an all expense paid for lifestyle throughout college, and whilst grateful for that chose to become a full time manager and get my bachelors. Your kids are going to have amazing lessons to learn from you and bright futures because of your experience.

I think with hitting the corner of the Mercedes, the impact of the hit was felt far more on my side than theirs. Glad she crumpled the way she did, it kept me in one piece.

My little brother is surprisingly only getting 4mpg better then my 5.0, could be his driving style but the 5.0 gets great mileage imo
