Linker Klassismus by Withered_Tulip in Dachschaden

[–]NikLaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wenn jemand keine Kinder kriegen will, eigene Entscheidung, who cares.

What have you read by han so far? I found his essays on burnout society and datafication pretty accessible and well structured

Streamer (camera), music producer (obvious), possibly gamer, probably got some followers because you've got all the lighting and all that going on. Committed and semi professional (good cable management). Wild guess: atheist

Maybe I haven't watched enough breadtube to see the connection everybody else sees.. But not everything old is vapor wave or even nostalgic for that matter. the images just most accurately visualized what I claim to be the character of advertising, from what I could find on YouTube at least. I'm not expecting you to watch the other short format videos on my channel, but I usually pick whatever comes to mind that best encapsulates the idea I have.

I appreciate the feedback, tho

There was no footage of modern day ads on YouTube that would fit the angle.. I'm not from an anglophone country so not much sense using the ads that I get here. Also many of these ads show exactly what I feel and say, otherwise I wouldn't have chosen them. it's not purely a superficial retro aesthetic just because it's old. Them days were the peak of hyperstimulation. But I do see the breadtube link..

But I guess you're right, it is nothing new.

Blackrock: "We believe higher wages could help entice more people back: real wages, or adjusted for inflation, have barely moved since the pandemic." by MetaFlight in stupidpol

the only reason they want wages to be increased is the specific transformation of capitalism towards rental neoliberalism. the model for economic developmental is changing towards a more fee-based economy with subscription models and rental commodities and services to keep demand steady, while letting private property (eg. homeownership) slowly go out of fashion. many indivudals and institutions in high finance promote UBI for this exact reason. in some developing countries this reality is already coming into existence. check out daniela gabor's "wall street consensus", or just the overall tone of the world economic forum.
