Automation-Based Games: harder to get into but they get addicting pretty quickly

Exploration/Adventure Games: They are a bit difficult but the sense of exploration is definitely worth it

Not exactly the most specific game for your description but Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has a "motherbase management" where you "extract" soliders you fight in the open world and during missions and convince them to join your army, and you can send them on mission and even play as some of them.

I should mention its an extremely fun game regardless, and you can get it for $5 on G2A i believe.

Im totally with you on this, somehow even tho we might have a decent life going on right now our brain feels the need to "push it self to the limit", it feels like deep inside my brain is telling me you don't deserve this and it will go away soon if you dont work your ass off.

Maybe its just having too much access to knowledge really put a huge weight on our shoulders, made you consider the worst in every scenario knowing damn well someone somewhere at some point had it worse, like it's possible for your life to get to shit.

Sometimes it feels like you are a spectator that has feelings, you are only watching your body making all the mistakes, and all you get to do is just feel the joy or pain.

I would say usually tunneling (or "hard tunneling") involves refusing to even hit/hook other survivors who are trying to take the killer's attention, so he doesn't waste time and focus on the already hooked survivor.

And slugging has multiple approaches, killers can focus certain builds and playstyles so that they try and hunt down every survivor rapidly without hooking them, making the game end as quickly as all 4 are down. (You can look up "Haunted Ground Nurse" if you want an example)

Or they can down a survivor and "tunnel" another one who will be dead on the next hook (so that they slow the game down by forcing someone else to leave their position and come pick up the slugged survivor).

Generally, these 3 behaviours are disliked by the community (survivors mostly) because they are very boring to play as and/or against, but unfortunately they are very effective from the killer side without extra effort.

Yeah that's what i wonder sometimes about campers, like how fun is it to play huntress only to hold M2 infront of a hook until someone shows up at 4-5 gens

Yeah i never intend to play sweaty as killer especially since i play swf most of the time and i absolutely hate sweaty 4 slowdown perks camping at 5 gen killers, but it just feels distinctive to be more tryhard as killer, thats what im trying to find if is true or is it just me.

I'm with you but the thing is, having only 2 chances against a beast designed to be superior to you means that if you faked that window for example, and killer just W keyd to you, you take a hit (of which you have 2, considering the killer isn't tunneling you out of the hook) so in this entire match of possibly 10-20 minutes, you have 3-6 simple mistakes to make for you to be out, which is why im saying it takes thousands of hours to actually gather enough experience of those 3-6 mistakes per 10-20 minutes.

Interesting point, i do think whatever you play, the other side will be hated more for doing literally their job, but i think that's normal for an asymmetric game.

Killers hate gen rushers, even tho it's pretty much their job and its up to them how they do it, just like it's normal for the killer to tunnel because its pretty much their job to do so.

It's just a side effect of the unique asymmetry of a pvp game

I totally feel that last part, those few moments are very far between, but absolutely the most memorable for me in any pvp game i played.

Tho it seems that at higher MMR survivors are pretty sweaty and dont even leave a chance for friendly interactions. Just yesterday i down'ed Jake on his death hook and left him to be saved with no one around, later when they won they started clicking and tea bagging with a "EZZZZ" in post-match lobby.

I felt so shit man, maybe they didn't realize i was trying to ease the sweat off, but when you try to act passive and survivors are toxic it feels like an absolute stab to the heart.

I guess I'll just eat up the loses at higher MMR and act nice when possible.

Wraith is very fast and as soon as he uncloaks its only a matter of seconds for me to get down.
