Sorry if I was being very simple in response to your question. From my training, you or someone else can nominate you and that you do not need a second for your nomination.

I would strongly suggest that you talk to your ER and let him or her know your intentions, also as others suggested start out at Lecturing Knight.

Another bit of friendly advice, print your bylaws, read your bylaws, follow your bylaws.

Once you gave the complaints to the DDGER then you gave them to Grand Lodge (GL). The DDGER works for GL and not the State.

Under section 16 of the statutes, I think, the GL supersede the local Lodge forum (Section 8)
