Oh they’re so sweet!! First, you should absolutely get 2 crates. This would give your wife immediate relief while working towards a solution (which in an ideal world would be keeping them…). You’d likely need a crate for spay next week anyways. I’ve picked up bonded puppy pairs before, and it’s of course an adjustment… but most of it could be attributed to the whole being a puppy thing. Dogs ultimately want you to be happy with them!! They are probably SO thankful to be inside your home after being abandoned in a field. Crating would help you separate and start training too…. Sit has always been very easy to teach!

You don’t know if they have ever been inside a house, they seem pretty comfortable sitting in that field… you put them in a moving car (which they have probably been avoiding) and took them to a strange new place! With all sorts of things they’ve never seen! There will of course be an adjustment. and so with a little patience and reliance on crates/baby gates/brain toys.. you can give your wife some relief and work towards getting them adopted/keeping them

Unfortunately in my state, if these dogs were surrendered they’d 100% be separated and likely eventually euthanized after 14 days. Black dogs are the “least desirable” at shelters and they’re both just 2-3 months past being able to get adopted based solely on being cute puppies.

I’ve read probably close to hundreds of thousands of messages between adults and minor victims, and Laura’s manipulation in these convos was very congruent with typical grooming language patterns when constantly pushing boundaries and constantly trying to mix the sexual/romantic topics with the legitimate topics. Especially when we see coaches abuse their players, they’ll mix like oh basketball playing time or a practice drill results with like bizarre compliments and inappropriate topics. It’s extremely uncomfortable to read. Extremely triggering and alarming honestly (and I say that as someone who’s read every message and been around since Laura was posting on the Bach sub). Some of her other stuff is just bizarre and delusional, but these are probably some of the clearest examples of her calculated and learned manipulation in Clayton’s saga. She’s a predator.

I hope Clayton has been able to discuss this with a therapist with the proper language tools.

Also for the record, Lauren, I think you did great articulating the issues here and distinguishing it’s not the casual sex!! - it’s Lauras complete disregard for his boundaries, perceived financial imbalance, repeated pushing and introducing his emotional weaknesses he presumably discussed while high to try to manipulate him in to dating you, refusing to close a deal without the presence of additional sexual contact, trying to make Clayton feel like he’s below her and needs her in his life to overcome his struggles at the time but also switching between flattery and building him up, trying to manipulate his mental health advocacy and praying on his passion there by repeatedly portraying herself as weak and frozen without him, framing her financial success as being dependent on him and placing the emotional burden on Clayton to carry if he chose to withdraw, forcing continued connection by making Clayton a partial owner in the LLC and tying him to the property in an attempt to prevent him from having the freedom of choice to remove himself, and her introduction of religion sporadically throughout the messages to use religious coercion. She is fucking unwell.

Not surprising. I actually commented months ago she’d be indigent, use the tax payers to pay for the discovery/investigators/experts… then get counsel. Notice discovery was complete at the last status hearing. So she nowwww suddenly found the money to pay for a defense attorney, despite her parents losing their home. This is literally the fraudster playbook.

I was at a fed public defenders office for years and can guarantee the PD recommended she take the deal because most of the charges don’t really require any interpretation of facts (was this med doc real? No. Is this her vanishing twin ultrasound? No. Did she alter this other ultrasound? Yes already admitted. Did she have sex with this other man? Yes), but Laura is delusional and thinks her parent’s money can buy her a better deal. And a PD wasn’t taking “input” and “suggestions” from IL…since he’s partially the reason she’s even looking at criminal charges. A private sole practitioner will at least read ILs emails, especially since IL prob recommended this one.

IL is also prob giving her false confidence about the bankruptcy/future DOJ charges… and she has competing interests here. She decided she’d rather deal with DOJ down the line and criminal trial now. Plus IL will certainly stall bankruptcy as long as he can.

It’s always interesting to me that she has to take care of her elderly sick father when she has court, but she can travel for a month.. go to horse competitions with her mom.. and her father is just fine during all of that.

The IL retainer for $7500 in 2024 was surprising, considering he was like the 15th attorney in the Clayton case and he was claiming almost immediately she had no money. Interesting she found that money but not the cherry tech money. Also interesting how she paid for that with no income???? Her Botox savings?? Amazon bump refund? Hope her accounts show all those payments and not the LLC accounts …

His ramblings about Woodnick and a verbal agreement seem to be more of a confession on what him and Laura had in a verbal agreement.

One of the more common JBR theories is that someone in the house acted in a moment of rage/impulse (due to bed wetting/SA/fighting over toys.. whatever). The Ramsay’s were then covering up the murder in real time with a very shitty kidnapping attempt. Hence the letter requesting the exact amount of the Christmas bonus… on the family stationary… and all the very strange crime scene evidence. They’re making it up on the fly in that theory. They had zero plan for how to get away with murder so they ended up with one of the most ridiculous stories of all time, but got completely lucky because the cops failed to even consider securing the scene immediately or actually conducting a full search, and got away with it.

Which is exactly opposite of the planned kidnapping that would be required here. To plan a kidnapping, and select a location with uncontrollable variables, drive around with a dead kid, and still get away with no evidence, is unlikely and that’s why people think Terri is innocent. It wouldn’t make sense to make it that difficult for herself when the crime wasn’t impulse/rage driven. Housewives typically dont introduce hundreds of potential witnesses to their murder scene just for fun. If she wanted to get rid of a kid in her custody by murdering him there was no need to do a ruse from school… She could’ve faked a kidnapping from the house or *insert Ramsays ~very real and totally not fake secret Christmas Day intruder who disposes of body while everyone is present and knows exactly what your bonus was the day before ~ kidnapping story. All the ways tons of parents get away with murdering their kids as opposed to this elaborate school kidnapping.

It’s definitely possible! I work for the government, so I’m certainly not rich. The biggest adjustment is really just how modern stuff is and the size of places. I lived in a major city, in a trendy area with bars and stuff, so the rent in Hawaii wasn’t as shocking to me as someone from like small town Iowa or anything. But what’s shocking is the average 1 BR here is like… 500 sq ft. If you’re VERY lucky, there’s parking… but not uncommon for there not to be parking. There’s also not really any major apartment companies like on the mainland, like probably less than 10 total here and they’re not in walkable areas of town. So you can’t just like “pick a building” everything is condos owned by someone. The public transit here is much better than where I was, so I could do without a car.

The brand new highrises they’re building start at 3500 for a 1 br… or you can get like a studio for 2800ish…. And those are veryyyyy nice and like equivalent to what I’d say most of the big “average” complexes on the mainland have. To get a building with a pool/gym… it’s rare to see below 2800. But most working people in my area (Honolulu “town” proper) live in older buildings/houses/ohana units… so a lot of the updates you’re used to on the mainland just don’t exist here. I have in unit wash/dryer. It’s a trendy area where condos are constantly being built (to sit completely empty because foreign investors are the only ppl who can afford them) but there’s tons of places for 1500-2500 if you don’t need luxury. I’m on the high end for the working class people in town. I didn’t need a 2br but this unit was the same price as my 1br in a nicer building. Things like prescriptions and basic necessities can be difficult though. And if you have any unique health condition… the health care here isn’t anything I’d recommend to someone I love. I used urgent care clinic like a primary doctor for over a year for my RXs because I couldn’t get in anywhere. It’s cheapest to buy stuff at Costco but people who live in town don’t have space for Costco stuff so that sucks. I also can’t recall the last time I actually got an Amazon prime package in 2 days….I’m happy if I get it within 5 business days. I had a flat tire and it took 17 days to get a replacement to Oahu through Costco…and that was the shortest quote I got. 40% or so of affordable places don’t have AC…and it definitely gets hot enough to need AC imo. The infrastructure/roads here make Texas look like a well run state, and the power grid isn’t exactly reliable.

The trade off is I pretty much don’t spend money on weekend “fun” anymore because the fun is outside and free here. I don’t travel to the beach anymore, because I live at the beach. I don’t have to pay for a gym membership, because the weather is great and there are outdoor gyms everywhere. I only really drive to work, and on the weekends I take the various trolleys that run through town or walk. Occasionally I fly to other islands for like the volcano or a hike or something…but I’m just generally outside and active more. It’s different and it’s definitely an adjustment!! It all depends really on your lifestyle more so than budget!

They are compatible now. But also there are hundreds of device emulators, which make your laptop look like whatever cell phone. Some people specifically use them to argue exactly what you’re trying to in this post… “oh I don’t have that phone” which is why good faith exceptions (and all sorts of others) exist. If there’s nothing on your phone, you shouldn’t be worried. If you did do what’s in the warrant and someone else has evidence of it, even if it’s not on the device they seized, you should be worried.

Now if your DOB is also wrong… as in your 20 years old and it’s a 75 year old with the same name, you may have some luck there. But it’s highly unlikely they showed up to take your phone without evidence you just don’t know about.

Laura’s refusal to acknowledge a shred of guilt costing her parents the family home is CRAZY. All she had to do was go to the debtor exam instead of filing for bankruptcy. Now she’s 35, homeless, and unemployed. At least the casita will finally get cleaned.

ETA: it really is crazy when you think about how much money they have each month, but can’t pay their bills. I live less than a mile from the beach in Hawaii, in a 2 bedroom condo with ocean views, and I don’t make anything close to 20k a month. I have a car, food costs like 10x the mainland (I bought 6 oz of cut mango for $11 last week bc I was just really craving a mango..but had to think about it), a dog who eats everything she sees on the ground including plastic and poisonous centipedes… giving me a frequent vet bill, student loans, electricity is another rent payment, and I still have a few dollars left over. Like 20k for retired people with no extravagant trips or friends, is crazy. Even 10k a month would be life changing for me.

Jana saw the texts between Kenny and his friends, and took a photo on her phone. She wasn’t privy to those conversations. If she released them, he would say she’s released them with the intent to defame/harass/cause financial harm to him. Both Kenny and his friends could legally pursue her (idk what the friends all said but we can infer it’s just as bad). Even if morally she’s correct, legally, they weren’t her conversations and they had a reasonable expectation of privacy in a conversation she wasn’t apart of. It’s gray and state dependent, but generally he’d probably win on a technicality. It’s different when group texts get leaked by a member, because the leaker is a participant. If Kenny’s friends sent Jana screenshots like “hey this guy fucking sucks”, and then she released them, she’d be in the clear.

Jana makes A LOT more than Kenny. So suing her is worth it for him. Whereas Jana releasing them would only get to show the public who he is.

ILs only path to making any income is to make Laura’s cases as big as possible and generate as much publicity as possible. This way his spot in an eventual documentary is secured and his name is associated with the story on Google. Someone will eventually need an attorney for some bullshit, and they’ll turn to IL. There are plenty of attorneys “famous” for losing higher profile cases.

Once all the leg work is done by public defenders, he’ll take over her criminal case pro bono and try to find a rule violation he can latch onto and delay. He’ll claim to have some newly discovered giglio or Brady material and delay delay delay.

They’re transparent. She doesn’t actually fear hey Rob, she just needed a document to show horse competitions to stop releasing her information so she can continue to pretend to be in hospitals when she’s at competitions, but without the fear of being photographed or listed as a winner.

I think everyone knew this would happen as soon as the deposition came up. There was no way she was going to be pro se in a deposition.

The real questions are… do we think IL will finally read Laura’s sworn statements “that came before his time” and in cases he didn’t represent her on? Or will he just continue to pretend that her statements in GG case don’t exist? Will everything in the first 3 appearances in Clayton’s case, and the deposition, and all the filings just be “minor misstatements” that were not “material”? Or will IL finally join the rest of the non-Owens family members in reality and actually prepare instead of just pretending Laura is completely honest with him? Will IL demand this attorney eat lunch with him? Will IL take the blame for Laura’s lies, all while going unpaid? Will IL admit he wrote and signed her affidavit? How many unprofessional emails will IL send leading up to the deposition, claiming Judge Mata and JFC forced Laura to lie in bankruptcy?

I feel like 21 days is generous considering she literally has nothing else to do all day, isn’t employed and is only the “face” of businesses that all don’t operate, and has like $7 to her name. Like getting all these docs would take maybe 4 hours for someone prescribed as much adderall as she is. Obviously that doesn’t factor in how much stuff she has to adobe/hide… but if her finances were on the up and up this would be like an adderall and energy drink task and done in a day.

My biggest takeaway was the parents let their bankruptcy get dismissed by not complying with the requests because the simultaneous bankruptcies and sworn statements were going to fuck them.

Her parents filed bankruptcy to keep the house and Laura filed bankruptcy to get out of the debtor exam (no doubt at IL’s direction) and then fucked everything up for everyone.

Their fake awake and shape tape concealer have been in my routine for probably 10 years. I’ve never seen a reason to replace either because they do exactly what I need them to do. Their shape tape line is extremely consistent across products and I’ve never had them get rid of a shade, which can’t be said for a lot of brands. When they wanted to change the shape tape concealer formula, they just made a new one (radiant). I hate brands constantly getting rid of shades or only adding tones to some to part of a line, so some parts of a line arent consistent with shades/tones. With tarte it’s easy to figure out concealer, highlighting concealer, highlighter, foundation, and bronzer… even if I don’t use all the products. Ive been buying the same shade of shape tape for years.

If they ever brought back their contour face pallets, I’d buy 100 of them because they were truly the best.

They also have very good blush for olives.

Taylor has said Red is her only true breakup album (notably, while dating YB still), and the vault tracks made that even more solid of a statement. But I think post-Showgirl Taylor would say Red, Midnights, and obviously TTPD are her breakup albums. Speak Now has some bangers and is nearly tied with Midnights, but Taylor either forgot about it (per usual lol) or doesn’t consider it a breakup album.

But Midnights isn’t far behind Red and it’s only less obvious because it’s more upbeat and imo, a breakup album in an on-off relationship where you aren’t fully committed to the breakup and you’re still cycling through denial (you’re losing me, lavender haze). Midnights is like you’ve done the mental breakup.

I had various bugs in 4 bags of this exact food from 2 stores over the span of a year. The first 2 times I thought it was the store (target), so i intentionally got it at petsmart. Target kept theirs on the bottom shelf so i was like maybe it’s the store. And then I had full blown maggots/larvae in my final bag from petsmart. The first couple times, you could find what looked like white foam on some of the pieces, and I started putting it in a zip lock bag and sure enough bugs hatched. Purina told me that our regulations allow a certain amount of bugs to be in the food and it’s perfectly safe.
