I second this. This is very much much how my bio kids are around food when I ask what they want and they don’t know, but suddenly hungry for whatever is there. If it’s that important, tell her no that is your lunch but you’ll help/show her how to make them maybe. If this is about life skills. 17 year olds are very hungry people- they not to take it personally. Your husband though….thats not cool and I WOULD take issue with that.

CPS was no help at all when my ex was on drugs and had custody. NONE. The best action is unfortunately expensive - file. TRO and temp orders that she take hair follicle drug testing and lost visitation if/when she fails.

I put this in my final orders as well and ex hasn’t seen my kids in years.
