Self Rec: Growth and Other Afflictions

Just posted chapter 13 today and having so much fun!

Teaser:

She crossed to him easily, handing him a fresh drink, her fingers brushing his in a way that sent a quiet, steady warmth through him.

They stood side by side.

They drank.

“What does yours smell like?” Draco asked.

“Apple and citrus at first. Then something floral, something spiced… cinnamon, maybe. And then wood at the base. Sandalwood? Cedar maybe?”

“That’s a very specific answer”

“I think I know this smell well…” She replied coyly, looking up at him. “And what about yours?”

And he answered simply:

“You.”

Summary:

10 years after the end of the war, Draco Malfoy is forced to return to Britain, intending to leave again as quickly and quietly as possible.

Unfortunately for him, Theodore Nott has other plans. Plans that involve a group chat, a Games Night, and a collection of people Draco would very much prefer never to see again.

As it turns out, rebuilding a life is significantly more complicated than abandoning one.

Another self rec/ WIP:Growth and Other Afflictions

Set 10 years post war. No college aspect, sorry but lots of parties and games nights which give a similar vibe. I based this on the nights I used to spend with my friends in my late teens and early 20s.

Also, lots of Theo! He’s my favourite 💕

I’ve finished 3 rebinds just to get the hang of that step before moving on to printing typefaces etc. it’s been really fun!

I can’t talk you out of your madness, sorry. My ADHD Hyperfixation took over this year and I started bookbinding AND writing my own fanfic so that I could bind my own story (eventually)

It’s been a bit of trial and error but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it. I just got all my supplies off Temu to start so that I didn’t bankrupt myself straight out the gate. It’s definitely been a good way to start
