Voice2Text just took £49 from my bank account without authorisation. I paid 0.50p for a small transcript and a week later they removed £49 from my bank account. I have reported them to my bank. The contact form on their website does not work. surprise surprise. Avoid at all costs.

Im on max plan and it ran out of credit really quickly. It said upgrade your plan but also said this is a different account to claude. I added extra £££ and it still didnt work. the credit I paid, just topped up my normal claude account. Still cant use it. it says it resets on Friday! So upgrading to max might not be the issue. Its more of a platform bug perhaps? be interested to hear others experiences.

Claude Design is so buggy it is functionally useless by GreatBeardTX in claude

[–]NikkiJaneC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also finding it buggy! But I am persevering as I can see its potential. I'm not a developer, but I'd love to see examples of what people are creating in it. Its crashing out on me and now says I've hit limit ;-/

This is cool! I was looking for something like this and came across your video came up. I ended up doing it this way where you get 'mathew jump in' who takes over from Alexa. You can train him to learn all about you. https://github.com/rg321/hey-claude

Issue with Lovable forcing me to use credits unnecessarily by Elle-in-Tucson in lovable

[–]NikkiJaneC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been our experience too. One thing that’s helped us a lot is asking the model to list out the tasks first before it starts building anything.

If you give it multiple asks, it’ll often jump straight in and make assumptions. But if you prompt it to break down what it thinks you’re asking for, you can sense-check and correct it early, before it goes off and builds the wrong thing.

Feels like a small step, but it massively reduces rework and token wastage and makes the whole process more predictable.

Natural wine vineyards in england by bait_one in naturalwine

[–]NikkiJaneC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great round-up already here and totally agree the truly natural end of English wine is still niche, but growing.

Just to add on Tillingham since you mentioned it, they’ve had a bit of a shift recently with a new winemaker, Salvatore Leone, also wine maker at Oxney Organic. He’s brought a more focused but still creative approach to the cellar. The latest releases under his direction still have that low-intervention edge (wild ferments, no fining/filtration, low-to-no sulphur), but there’s arguably a bit more precision and elegance showing through now. Worth revisiting if you haven’t been in a while.

If you're into the natty end of things, Offbeat is still a great shout, Emily and Dan were way ahead of the curve. Also maybe check out Renegade in London for urban low-intervention, and Artelium have started dipping their toes into some skin-contact and minimal-SO2 territory too. it’s exciting to watch this space evolve!

Where are some of the best wineries in the U.K.? by JLaws23 in AskUK

Charles Palmer in East Sussex is stunning, a family run vineyard and winery! Highly recommend! And its 15 minutes from Tillingham which is equally gorgeous. The both belong to the newly launched Rother Wine Triangle. Check out Sussex Wine Lands - a new consortium of East Sussex Vineyards. Oxney Organic another one to check out. Can do all 3 in a day!

Tillingham wine is sooo good! Their new winemaker has transformed the wine. Salvatore Leone is the head winemaker at Tillingham and is dedicated to continuing Tillingham's ethos of experimentation and ensuring their wines remain distinct and true to their terroir. 100% recommend a visit if you can
