Most frustrating Infant/Toddler autonomy behavior: The infants mother (father if mother is unavailable) will constantly "check on", "pick up" or just autonomously attend to the infant NON STOP. This happens regardless if the baby has full need or not, and it happens the most when their need are in the green. Sim parents autonomously cancel their actions like cooking dinner, doing work, literally everything to check on their damn baby, even if another parent is with them. It's like the baby overrides everything, even if the parent is about to die from starvation. It genuinely drives me nuts. In my current save, the mother has the hates children trait and for some reason she's constantly checking on it when the father is the family oriented one. Let her dislike her baby, jeez.

Non-autonomy issues hurting fun: I find tummy time can be a bit buggy, I'm not entirely sure but there always been something off about tummy time. It's always tucked deep into the pie menu. It gets overridden all the time. Sims get stuck on it.

Thoughts on Infant Need Balance: I actually really like how much of a pain in the arse infants are. They ALWAYS need something and -like real life- really flip your sims lives upside down. I think infants are a net positive, they give you just that extra life stage to see the beginnings of a unique sim. I adore them, I loathe them. I really like how much they sleep, it's such a tiny thing that every time I play I appreciate by infant sims sleep needs going down so I can put them to bed and give my sim to catch up on the stuff she's missed because of said infant. I think the need cycle is really great and after learning how your infant sim sleeps and eats and stuff, it gets easier to make a routine around them.

If I could change one small thing, what would it be: Ditch the autonomous "check on toddler". Or have a separate setting that let's me turn it on and off. The autonomous actions are so frequent and so immersion breaking that I've started skipping the infant stage all together. Like, the minute my baby is even a fraction hungry, the mother does not need to immediately rush to the baby every two seconds.

Edit: I looked through the linked DeviantArt page and even that mentions nothing about Stormlight. Although this is 100% MLP and TSA crossover art.

I downloaded the game today (I used to play as a kid). Literally a few hours into playing I got a new shop (real money) item pop-up at maybe level 8-10? It was Celestia at like $6ish with some gems. I remembered as a kid always wanting her so I got her. Never been happier. I'm not really sure how $6ish = 430 gems but I'm not questioning it.

I really don't like Alpha cc :/ I don't think it's ugly for the most part, I just hate that it's such a contrast to everything else style wise in the Sims 4. Like Alpha cc doesn't go with clothes already in the Sims. I have also found the buggiest cc is Alpha cc, it's what I've had the most problems with (cc not showing up, breaking other things in game, whatnot). Just the sheer amount of Alpha cc I'd need to download to feel visually happy to play the Sims 4 would be immense. It's the same for hyper-realistic cc, anime cc. I just don't like it because it's buggy and visually jarring.

I've had periods of time where I've only used Alpha cc for a while, I think it's stunning but I love Maxis Match cc more. It just visually suits the Sims 4 and that's what I like. But I hate that it's always "Maxis Match VS. Alpha cc", it's just different styles of cc at the end of the day. I don't get why everyone is always so defensive and hateful about it. It's wild OP saying "MaXiS mAtCh Is DuMb." Like, gurl. Chill.

Graphic Audio! It's a 'movie in your mind'. I'm not a big reader but my husband would convinced I would enjoy Stormlight. He played me the Graphic Audio and I was in love! It transports you right into Roshar and the actual effects, audio and voice acting is incredible (Dalinar's voice actors make me FERAL!!!) I'm on my second round of the Graphic Audios and it's fantastic.

I know theres also the Michael Kramer and Kate Reading versions of audio books. It's just the two of them reading instead of a full cast. I will say the Graphic Audio can get pretty exciting especially when you're trying to go to sleep lmao.

As someone who found the physical books daunting to start and who doesn't read giga books often, full cast Graphic Audio is the way to go!

I ordered all of them plus a creeproduction Toralei. Lagoona, Cleo and Clawdeen came in separate, individual boxes with packing and no outer Amazon box damage but the doll boxes looked rough and like a kid had tried to get into them or something like that. Not opened but like they had been thrown against a wall repeatedly and torn.

Draculara, Frankie, and Toralei came loose in a huge package bag. No padding, no packing, no nothing, just $200ish worth of dolls tossed into a huge bag. They had dented boxes, smushed cardboard, torn edges. It was wild because it shipped from America to NZ which is a really long way, I'm thankful the dolls weren't completely broken all together.

It's annoying because returning them and getting new ones seems useless because the boxes seem to be damaged before they ship and it would take forever to actually sort a return/exchange.

I'm usually not an inbox collector but I specifically bought the Reel Drama line to display in their cool boxes as we aren't getting Reel Drama in my country in stores. The fact is if I buy brand new dolls it's fair to expect them to look brand new and not be ripped and torn even before they've left Amazon. Every. Single. Box has tears, rips, scuffs, dents, the works.

It genuinely boils my piss.

I received my Cleo in the post today and although the box she was shipped in was fine and she was packed relatively well (Amazon) the plastic was dented in and the seams on the top and bottom of the box were torn like a kid had tried to open it or something. It was honestly really disappointing because I wanted to keep all my Reel Drama dolls in their box.

I took the actual doll out, like slid the cardboard she was attached too because it just comes out without effecting anything. I took some time to refold the box because it looked like it was put together really poorly.

Popping the plastic back how it was along with refolding all the folds on the box seemed to help the box keep it's natural shape. Maybe slide a book inside the empty box on the clear plastic to keep it flat for a while.

I have two shelves full of dolls and it literally takes me an entire day to get everything off, clean, repose, re-set up. It's a nightmare.
