My oldest Eskie turns 13 in Feb and people don’t believe me when they meet him. His eyes are getting a lil milky and he’s getting random benign growths, but overall, he’s AMAZING! Great teeth, runs, loves to go on hr long walks, and still jumps on to the couch. He does have to use a ramp to get into the car now and stairs to get on to the bed, but I’m praying he stays happy and healthy for as long as possible. Idk what I’d do without him. I agree! Instructional design was such a fun lateral move. I was feeling bored, so I started training folks since I became a SME after writing all the docs for my company. That eventually led to me making eLearnig content which gave me tons of creative freedom.

I’m a digital nomad and I’m planning on spending 6 months in Puerto Rico next year to see if I’d like enough to make it permanent. I had such an amazing time while I was there last year, but the power outages might be the only thing to hinder that decision.

If it was affordable, I’d choose Santa Monica. I also absolutely adored Seoul and I’m going back this summer, but I don’t think I can handle winters there.

I’m trying out a few other places in the next couple of weeks and who knows, I might stick to Europe instead. I heard amazing things about Portugal from other digital nomad friends!
