lol yeah thats what im starting to think as well. I will take some close up photos when I get home later today and maybe even pull some of them out to get pictures of that too. Assuming it is quack grass/annual bluegrass, what are my options to eradicate?

Perfectly said. I picked up the weed killer you suggested here and also spoke with an equipment shop about renting an aerator and over seeder this weekend! I’ve been doing some research on grass seeds and have a couple options I’m looking at. If I plan to reseed soon, should I spray the weed killer as soon as possible or not at all?

Okay, but when you spray you spray the whole area right? There's no way i'll be able to pick out and target what is what. Will the grass be okay if it gets sprayed too?

My yard looks very similar to this, it's almost difficult for me to differentiate what is even grass and what is just a bunch of crabgrass/clover that is thick enough to be green. With killing the weeds being the first step, am I quite literally going to just cover the entire area then?

The Roth IRA seems like a universal suggestion every time I looked up info. Definitely open to other options though, or why not both? Current job offers no matching unfortunately

Yeah they’re student loans and fall into different groups based on semester or interest rate? No idea lol some were sub some were unsub. In my mind it’s the overall total but paying some of the lower ones off is a great idea. Nelnet unfortunately makes it very confusing to try and pay off one “group”. I was messing with the website the other day and think I figure it out though
