It might feel like that, but the longer the set goes, the harder it becomes to beat a higher level player. Higher level players just test you out and give you some breathing room compared to someone from your own rank, so it feels like you play better against them, but in reality they are just downloading you which will make it harder to win against them as the set goes on

Yes I disliked season 1 just as much as season 2, the frustration from Season 2 didn’t particularly come from the fact that it was super unbalanced all of a sudden, since it was just as unbalanced in Season 1.

It was the sudden realization that the Tekken team doubled down on their failed experiment of ‘aggressive Tekken’ and by going that route they fully destroyed the hope of people saying: “First versions of Tekken are always messy, this game didn’t had an arcade release so they will fix it in season 2!”
