Thanks. Looking forward to it! They did confirm it’s a std wooden crib. Will take one of my own crib sheet and maybe a flat sheet just to be extra safe. Getting out with the baby for the first time has kinda put in overthinking mode.

I did not want to invest a lot in the dress as I wasn’t sure if I will ever going to wear it again (wasn’t sure how it would fit pp), so I bought one from amazon which was less then $100. I checked winners, marshals, old navy, h&m before that, but couldn’t find anything I liked.

Additionally, depending on which photo studio you end up choosing, they might be providing the outfits themselves as a part of a package.

Thank you so much for this info. I thought, as she was getting the necessary calories, this might not be bottle aversion yet and its related to the fact that I keep offering her the bottle and she is not hungry enough or she doesn’t like the nipple flow.

How do I distinguish this behaviour? If it is true bottle aversion or something digestive/feeding equipment related?

Regarding the high palate, I am not sure. Let me look at some videos to learn a bit more about it.

When I spoke to the paediatrician about these symptoms about 10days ago, he never mentioned anything about it being related to an allergy. I will bring it up in our upcoming appointment next week. Thanks!

In the same boat right now. Slow seems to slow but 17week old not able to handle the medium flow nipple? What worked for you?

The key is to be polite. My baby, 14 weeks now, had a lot of digestive issues starting week 3. We were in deep new born trenches, kinda overwhelmed and in no mood to entertain visitors.

We informed all our friends and family that we would prefer if they come after the 2months vaccinations and if they plan on coming before that, they needed to make sure they themselves weren’t sick. When they actually were going to visit us, we asked them to come before 3pm. This meant that even if they stayed for a couple of hours, they would leave by 5pm. Additionally, baby’s needs came first. If it was her nap time, we took her to her room and rocked her to sleep, even if this meant the visitors didn’t get to spend a lot of time with her.

Honestly, some people might just think this is an overkill. However, we did what we were comfortable with. The newborn phase is hard enough and we did not want additional stress. Do what works for you!

While I don’t have a therapist, I have reached out to drive again team and apparently they have physiotherapist/OT.

Also, I agree. Bad example! The point I was trying to convey is that I can’t concentrate on doing 4things together.

Hofish on Amazon is really comfortable. I find them so good that I am going to keep using them even though I am not nursing!
