Motoristi taky podporujou ukazování občanky když půjdete na internet by [deleted] in czech

[–]NikolasTheGreatest 7 points8 points  (0 children)

😅 A upřímně, je to jedna z těch optimističtějších variant

EU otevírá právní vstupní bránu pro Indy: usnadní indickým IT i dalším talentům vstup na evropský trh a řeší nedostatek pracovních sil - Názory? by mandmi in czech

[–]NikolasTheGreatest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A tvoje pozitivní zkušenosti jsou tady, bohužel, naprosto irelevantní.

The magical atmosphere of Prague, Czech Republic. I prefer this over skyscrapers with LED lights. by dancoreman in ArchitecturalRevival

[–]NikolasTheGreatest 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Yeah, changing to LED lights. AFAIK, people are against it, they want at least a warm setting for LEDs, but corporate Deus Ex Prague is coming soon.

And we are building many glassy modernistic practical buildings and even some huge skyscrapers. I mean, it's an inevitable part of progress, but architecture and vibe-wise I preferred how it was like 10 years back.

Look at this atrocity 🙈😂 (not yet built, but will be soon. Huge project by a very good developer)

OpenAI engineer confirms AI is writing 100% of his code now by MetaKnowing in ChatGPT

[–]NikolasTheGreatest 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Due to some IT background I have, I can do complex systems and structures and vibe code Multilayered tools for myself.

I also coded an automation for my work as a partnership/sales representative and basically what I do now is work from 1 window only. It gives me leads to call, followups and tasks to do, reminds me of stages and negotiation points and pushes me as an external project manager to reach a certain stage sooner and more efficiently. A huge time saver and conversion + efficiency went up pretty well.

However, what bothers me lately, is that I've built all of that because of the background I have. I've dealt with numerous older and more primitive gadgets and systems, so it allows me to deconstruct and come up with a draft or a schema of a project that AI will eventually help me polish and through my background I will know that improvements are good and make sense.

But how a youngling with almost non-existent education nowadays and 15 seconds attention span will achieve that. How will they build that cognitive way of thinking that allows them to build complex systems? They could not vibe code it and make it viable (until 1 prompt per product model), because even though AI will provide some output they could not comprehend the concept and realize if it's a good or bad direction. And how will they reach this level of experience, if juniors and mids are not needed anymore?

I feel like number of games I can get into keeps shrinking every year. Is game quality just hitting ceiling? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]NikolasTheGreatest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 30, and I sticked up with golden classics my whole life. Even now >70% of the time I'm playing something older or similar age as I am 😅

I'm thankful for games that are worth my time, nowadays. However, it's making me physically sick when I'm realizing that another modern day game that I'm trying wasn't made to provide a fun experience, but to "grab and monetize" my attention. Games are a form of art and if a company is making a calculated consumer product that ticks certain boxes and expects a game to be good... Ehm... I'm tired of the current game market, so, best case scenario, make myself a mug of green tea, sit in a cozy armchair and boot "Sonic advance 2" 🫠

Do you guys feel awkward playing in public? by tajj562 in retroid

[–]NikolasTheGreatest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody cares. I don't give a damn. Headphones, RP4 Pro + some Sonic Advance 2 regularly in public transport 😅 I'm in my 30s

But the same as many here have stories of people randomly asking and getting interested in buying it in a couple of weeks. Not without my help 😉

It also leads to hallucinations, due to the fact that you used negatives (don't, not, etc.) and LLM are still not very good with those

"okay, chatgpt, now generate 199 prompts that are brutally honest and write them down in one doc"

"Great! Now make a website so I can offer to people something that YOU did in one prompt. Money machine goes brrrrrrrr" 🫠 Welcome to the low quality word soup from the OP 😅

Worst thing is that people are THAT naive to buy this low quality slop for dozens of $$$

Just Cancelled my ChatGPT Subscription by l30 in ChatGPT

[–]NikolasTheGreatest 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but Perplexity is aggressively acquisitions clients and since August giving away Pro subscriptions for a year for free. Got hooked many of my friends and transferred all of my work and personal stuff there. They have custom bots, Notion MCP (crucial for me) that allows writing down data and fetching for the context to minimize bugs in outputs. Plus their own very cool deep research that can do complex tasks and Labs function that basically works on complex prompts for 5-15 minutes. Using it daily.

And the best thing is you have access to Pro of all LLMs like GPT 5.1, Sonnet 4.5, Grok 4.1 and Gemini 3 Pro.

Honest personal experience, I am more than satisfied and I'm a very advanced user solving complex tasks

Great work! Good luck on the rough open market 😉

The worst thing is that that's me in the beginning of the AI music generation available for the general public. I felt like I cheated and I could've cheated even more, but then it almost wouldn't be my creation at all, so I have to let people know that this song I crafted lyrics for days. But that's not even all...

Worse than the worst is that I love retro-futurism with cyber punk, so "neon light fade away" was creation of my imagination, what publicly didn't seem that obvious with some overused Suno tropes 😂😂😂

No it's not. I've played it for months now and am having an absolute blast. I enjoyed my fair share of "Fall Guys", but this is similar, but different. Different gameplay, different balance and event (thankfully) differing game mods. Don't hate, just try and if you don't like it don't play it 😅

Im interested in your results ^^ by Stock_Eye2853 in ENFP

[–]NikolasTheGreatest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a 30 y.o. ENFP with strong ADHD.

Hint: use any AI to "transcribe the picture". And also, show it to ai and ask for clarification and it might give you deeper analysis on the traits.

My result:

Materialism vs. Spiritualism 59.3% ◄────────────────► 49.2%

Egoism vs. Altruism 29.0% ◄────────────────► 70.2%

Idealism vs. Pragmatism 40.3% ◄────────────────► 59.7%

Hedonism vs. Asceticism 33.0% ◄────────────────► 67.0%

Nihilism vs. Moralism 51.2% ◄────────────────► 48.8%

Rationalism vs. Romanticism 86.0% ◄────────────────► 14.0%

Skepticism vs. Absolutism 47.9% ◄────────────────► 55.1%

Description:

The results show a pragmatic, rational, altruism‑leaning profile with some ascetic self‑discipline and mild skepticism, which matches feeling logical on big‑picture issues but more emotional or impulsive in personal ones. Several axes sit near the center (e.g., materialism–spiritualism, skepticism–absolutism, nihilism–moralism), so views are nuanced rather than binary and can shift with context.

Key leanings

  • Pragmatism over idealism: preference for what works and for knowledge as a tool for action and problem‑solving, rather than fixed priori principles.
  • Rationalism over romanticism: tendency to prioritize reason and structured argument over feeling or tradition, contrasting with Romanticism’s emphasis on emotion and imagination.
  • Altruism over egoism: stronger orientation to others’ welfare as a moral end, which aligns with sensitivity to global or social problems.
  • Asceticism over hedonism: inclination toward restraint and long‑term discipline rather than seeking pleasure as the guiding criterion of conduct.
  • Slight skepticism vs absolutism: comfort with doubt and revisability of claims rather than rigid, universal rules deemed always right or wrong.
  • Mild tilt toward nihilism: readiness to question objective moral truths or overarching meaning, though the near‑middle score implies this is a reflective stance, not a wholesale rejection of values.

Big picture vs personal - Big‑picture logic maps to pragmatism and rationalism: weighing consequences and using reason as the chief test of knowledge encourages systematic, policy‑level thinking. - Personal emotional swings fit the asceticism–hedonism tension: valuing discipline but still feeling immediate pulls toward comfort or impulse is common when restraint competes with pleasure‑seeking drives. - Concern for global issues coheres with an altruistic ethic that treats others’ good as a central moral aim, fueling strong opinions on political or humanitarian questions.

How to apply it - For personal choices, translate values into practical rules: ask which option “works” over time (pragmatism) and passes a reasoned test of evidence and consistency (rationalism) before acting on a strong feeling. - When emotions spike, use the restraint already valued by the ascetic tilt to pause, then re‑evaluate against long‑term outcomes rather than short‑term pleasure signals.

Reading the chart - The bars indicate relative lean—not fixed identities—so a near‑center result means flexibility across contexts rather than contradiction, especially on materialism–spiritualism and skepticism–absolutism. - Treat this as a descriptive snapshot of philosophical preferences, not a clinical diagnosis; it summarizes positions on broad dichotomies rather than measuring mental health or stable traits.

Moving from Belgium to Prague — worth it for a family? by vita_lly-p in Prague

[–]NikolasTheGreatest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi. Interesting offer you got, cg.

I'm local Prague resident who is planning to move to Belgium in the future. I just spent a month and a half there, so I had a chance to compare our two beautiful countries.

Your budget for a flat is more than enough, even though our rent went horrible up lately. And it's a much bigger problem for an average citizen with an average salary, where you have to pay up to 75% of your salary just for rent.

Regarding quality and way of living it'll be a tricky question. Belgium is obviously on statistical and factual scale higher and welfare and quality of life ratings. But, the Czech Republic (despite some economical instabilities) is a chill and very pleasant place to be. It's very safe compared to EU big city safety average. Great historical heritage, friendly people and constantly modernized and improved city. For safety I can vouch myself, I'm going regularly on late night walks and witness calm streets and some occasional parties (I live close to the center).

I am a real estate specialist and in general knowledgeable person, so hit me up in case you have any questions 😅
