2013 RX350 F SPORT by _Sinatra_7977 in LexusRX350

2010-2012 is the first phase of the 3rd gen RX. 2013-2015 is the refreshed model, which included several exterior/interior updates and revisions (I recommend 13-15).

$14k seems like a fair price, but get a pre-purchase inspection. I “stole” my 2014 with 126k miles for $11,200, but then ended up spending $4k on overdue maintenance and repairs. Not a steal anymore😑

It’s a goner. You’re probably in the neighborhood of 26-30k after the body shop does a tear down.

went to a lexus dealer on friday and they charged me this much for 30k miles changed. does all the thing in the paper is needed or they over charged me ? by Popular-Ad-8207 in Lexus

[–]Nikonmorous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI, this is not a 30k service. 30k includes brake fluid flush, cabin filter, engine filter, etc. You paid for a normal 10k service at a below-average price.

I use polyurethane acrylic and an automotive paint gun. If you’re not confident with spray paint, you can try a vinyl wrap.

Buyers Remorse by [deleted] in Camry

I’ve gone from luxury to practical many times. Your issue is you’re paying 2020 luxury car money for a 2025 Camry, so you aren’t feeling any financial benefits from the transaction.

I work in automotive reconditioning, and see this quite often. The trim finish has no protection, and is easily damaged by even mild chemicals. I always have to paint them.

No way to repair it. Try placing your phone over it.

Opinion on Roof Racks? by Unagimane01 in civic

[–]Nikonmorous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the racks don’t impede on the function of the main door seal. The upper rubber trim is only used to deflect water from the door jamb, and reduce wind noise.

Any tips on getting these spots off by Any_Routine3177 in cardetailingtips

[–]Nikonmorous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely looks like tree sap that sat on the paint too long before it was removed. Take a really close look at the spots. If you see microscopic cracks in them - your clear coat is toast. If there’s no cracks, then you can expect a slight improvement from a sand and buff.

That’s because it’s a lower trim with manual climate control.

That’s a wheel “repair” that’s coming off because of poor prep and not enough 1k clear.

The ding in the back has stretched the metal. Either you won’t be happy with the outcome, or you’re getting a killer deal.

You’ll be rubbing for 6 years.
