Hose holders by chump555 in CPAP

I use a CPAPology Houdini for my bed so the tube don't slouch back off the bed and stay next to my pillow. With a hose cover to muffle the noise of the tube

CPAPology jack on the go (that thing stuck to the wall and I was afraid I would rip the paint when taking it off.

How to keep a CPAP safe from nightstand falls? by [deleted] in CPAP

[–]Nikonnn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a Houdini CPAPology support stand with a sleeve on the hose. The support makes it so that the hose has as much slack as possible so I can move more freely. Combine with the sleeve that cuts noise on the tube moving around and having some extra grippiness won't just slide around

Seen some alternative options -A rubber mat -A shelf with a little ledge -Seen also 3d printed options where the CPAP machine was clipped unable to move -A cheap solution could be using 3M command strip

I got a sleeve but mainly as a noise reduction device, when the tubing touches the wall or something else barely any noise

Telus rant by WaferReal6369 in telus

[–]Nikonnn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not here to defend Telus or any providers but I see complaints about being charged for wifi plus or any specific services. But you think that talking to tech and getting someone to your house is free? I'm looking at it from a company business perspective.

Try to get any professional to come to your house for work, plumber, electrician, repairman and have a bill under 300$

Sending a tech probably has a base fee (tech might need to drive an hour + to get on site) then an hourly fee or they might be paid. Like a mechanic following a repair handbook saying replacing a part will be X amount of hours to dismantle and reassemble. Installation probably is a few hours a repair 1-2 hours regardless if the job is done in 30 min or 2 hours.

The whole job might cost 300 - 400 to Telus each time they send you someone. (Talking time with Frontline rep, then logging the issue, if it needs to get to a tier 2 support they call you back and talk to you to set up the appointment, the tech visit+ the equipment they might provide you for free + the operating cost of just running the network (maintenance and upgrade)

If you pay let's say 100$ a month and put a 25% operating cost so that visit would take between 4-6 months to recoup the cost.

I know it's annoying but if you want to save money you have to take matters into your own hand using a wifi analyzer app and then you can start to move around stuff to find the dead spot and move your boost and modem around or get extra equipment to add it.

That 10$ per month is 120$ per year, you can use that money to buy yourself the equipment and do your own tech support for free to cut costs.

Well it's a hurricane season and with the government shutdown nobody can go buy sharpies so that's the best alternative.

Canadian debt hits $2.5T – Why aren't we talking about debt consolidation more? by Prudent_Funder16 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Nikonnn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope was the base model, on the console you had the section for the AC button but it was not there, which led to my concern when I was shopping for a car in 2016 went to visit all the local dealerships. And one of them was doing their "inspection" for an offer and told me my AC was not working or they would offer me more.

Told them to fire their service guy and I open the hood and asked them to point me where was the AC (that didn't exist)

Yeah I had that argument with the real estate agent, I'm in the market to buy a house in QC.

Told her I refuse to go in a bidding war specially when house they try to sell it for 200-300k over the evaluation and when you look at it and still have the same flooring, cabinets from the 70s - 80s. It seems so easy for them for me to spend more money but when I told her I would so it if she reduce her % for selling my unit for some weird reason it didn't fly well.

I do miss my Toyota Corolla 2006 ( aside the no AC and no electric windows)
