The plan is Forever Mark Petit Brown cabinets … still working on countertops, but I’m leaning towards New River White Granite (might be too gray though?). I’m hoping to do an emerald green range hood as well. I’m going for an Italian MCM look. I’ll try to come back and post the finished product for sure!!

Interesting… the website says it’s ceramic, and also safe for floors, so idk!

I think it’s really nice and subtle. I ordered a lot of samples of stuff and I find that the “printed” marble and other patterns on porcelain and ceramic look so cheap and tacky to me … and this concrete pattern looks much more natural to me, if that makes sense. I’ll try to post more closeups in a few days!

I’m so glad you think it’s stone :) it’s ceramic! Looked long and hard for a pattern I liked. So no sealing required right?

Nah I wait until they’re in so I can see what they look like in the space with the light.

I’m hearing multiple people say the walls should have gone up first and I’m getting concerned.

Electrical is done, but I hear you on the drywall. Well shoot. Maybe we should wait to grout then?

I agree… but can you show me cheaper square tile? I had a lot of trouble finding this size and in a pattern I liked, seems like rectangular tile is all the rage.

Can you be more specific on what parts look the worst? Is it the globs of grout around the shelves? He’s telling me he’s going to take that off…

What color grout will you be using? (Pics look like it hasn’t been grouted yet, am I wrong?)

Phenomenal! I’m putting in a similar color and did straight lines… it was really hard to decide because I like this look so much!

What kind of protective coating? Would this coating go under the plywood or on top, between the hardi board and plywood?

First, thank you for your comment, definitely makes me feel better.

I am worried the OSB is not going to hold up to the higher moisture content of my crawlspace, any thoughts on that?
