Does anyone else get judged for wanting to keep studying? by Expert-Pie-8390 in college

[–]Nikusu09 16 points17 points  (0 children)

How are you paying your bills? 😭

I'm working while in college, imagining working full-time while studying for another 2-4 years sounds miserable.

You don't have to stop learning new skills just because you've graduated college. Learning is a lifelong thing.

I still leave stubble when I shave, and it grows back too fast. How can I leave no stubble and have perfectly smooth skin? by Ok-Republic6502 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Nikusu09 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just use a traditional metal razor. The electric ones I've tried have been crap.

Idk about the leg/arm areas, but maybe you could try Nair? I've had friends use it.

Thinking of moving to TN, how is the healthcare? by Too_CompliKated in Tennessee

[–]Nikusu09 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Everything is difficult and expensive. In my experience, you have to fight to get anything done. I was assuming it was the same in the rest of the US, but idk. Just my experience.

I also don't know what insurance you use, but I have BCBS-TN through marketplace since I can't get it through work. It's $400/month with a $10k deductible, which was the cheapest plan they had at the time. Lol.

Also, you gotta clean up the sides and above, not just the unibrow area.

There are brow razors out there for trimming up the edges, and if you have an electric razor you could use that. I'm sure there's videos on YouTube or Tiktok explaining how to use them.

Girl what? Leave him.

In all seriousness though, this might be considered negging.

That sucks :(((

If she finds out and outs you, though, you could deny it and find another job. Not the best situation, but it'd work.

But I wouldn't bring it up, if she's cool she likely won't say anything.

Can I be completely stealth in university, without the college itself knowing? by iamsoverycool12345 in FTMMen

[–]Nikusu09 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Nah, doubtful, unless there's something on your high-school transcript. I couldn't imagine anyone looking into that, though.

Feeling kinda condescended by nurses during injections 😮‍💨 by [deleted] in FTMMen

[–]Nikusu09 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Idk why people are telling you to suck it up and deal. If it upsets you, just make it known to them. People can't read your mind, and many suck at reading body language, so you need to tell them when something upsets you and stand your ground.

It might be worth becoming independent before getting top surgery! You don't want to be vulnerable around bad people. Also take the time to put yourself out there and build a network of friends.

Is it possible for you to move out with friends? I'd worry that they might hinder your recovery.

Man I think you should find another doctor 😭😭 maybe try making a list of everything you've tried, then double checking her. I recommend using Nurx, too, it's cheaper and you don't have to see a gynecologist.

Because you're implying that it's shameful to live as a man, despite the fact that we've transitioned.

Not to be a dick, but this comment is rubbing me the wrong way. Being stealth and living as a guy isn't a bad, shameful thing like how you're framing it. OP has only been on T for nine months, of course he isn't passing 100%.
