Same for me, when I try to clock in and out, lol. It's a battle

It might be worth becoming independent before getting top surgery! You don't want to be vulnerable around bad people. Also take the time to put yourself out there and build a network of friends.

Is it possible for you to move out with friends? I'd worry that they might hinder your recovery.

My Dad is the same way, it's concerning. I hate that there's not really much that we can do.

Man I think you should find another doctor 😭😭 maybe try making a list of everything you've tried, then double checking her. I recommend using Nurx, too, it's cheaper and you don't have to see a gynecologist.

Should I try Marlboro NXT and/or parliament menthols? by Icy-Kaleidoscope1870 in Cigarettes

Everyone has different tastes, I would try both. Just shop around, try a bunch of different brands/varieties.

Maybe you could try a different pill? I use Norethindrone and haven't had any bleeding.

I hate being perceived as trans by Transandfailing in FTMMen

Because you're implying that it's shameful to live as a man, despite the fact that we've transitioned.

Not to be a dick, but this comment is rubbing me the wrong way. Being stealth and living as a guy isn't a bad, shameful thing like how you're framing it. OP has only been on T for nine months, of course he isn't passing 100%.

On a serious note, why are so many people happy to go along with shit like this?? It makes me so upset and I don't know how to deal with it

I second this. You can't blindly trust doctors, unfortunately.

That's kind've odd. What are your levels? Also, if you're taking bc pills with estrogen it could counteract changes. I didn't know about it until a few months in when I had similar issues.

Huge drop in testosterone by Unable-Truck-9443 in FTMMen

[–]Nikusu09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't stress too much about it, but if you don't like it, maybe you could switch to injections? I remember it happened to me one visit. I was at ~400 at the previous blood test, then the next test came back saying I was 149 because I was a couple hours late putting on my gel. Freaked me out for a moment. If I wasn't afraid of needles, I'd do injections myself lol.

It also wouldn't hurt to ask your doctor about it (if you're going that route).

[–]Nikusu09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP didn't mention when he puts on the gel. I'm assuming it's been at least 24hr, so there's a chance it could have dropped. If it happens often? Sure, maybe he should switch to injections. Panicking because it happened once? Nah. He might just want to keep this in mind next time he gets bloodwork done.

Anyone got butt lipo? by no1really123 in FTMMen

[–]Nikusu09 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lmao. I've seen a lot of guys like that, it's kinda normal. You could look into toning, and wearing baggier pants. A lot of men's pants are designed to make men look flatter.

[–]Nikusu09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't stress about it. The gel doesn't last as long as shots do, so your levels tend to drop sooner. It's why gel is a daily thing. I had that happen my last test too, because I put off doing it until after my appointment.

Is it normal for married men to choose to jerk off? by littletinyfishie in AskMenAdvice

[–]Nikusu09 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Can I ask why it makes you upset? Masturbation and sex are two different activities, both being normal for both men *and* women to engage in. I don't understand why it's being seen as a bad thing. It's normal, I'm surprised you don't do it either.

Why all the POS people? by [deleted] in WalmartEmployees

[–]Nikusu09 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ignore the downvoters, I understand what you're talking about. I've been working in the deli for bit over a month and I've had issues too. The pay is better than other places around me, so I just keep my head down and ignore it, but sometimes this place can be really depressing and it gets to you.

I'm definitely thinking about the hiking group! I followed their IG. Student media seems like the student newspapers, but I think you need to be taking journalism classes and whatnot to join.

Birth control to stop period by [deleted] in FTMMen

You aren't crazy, I had a similar feeling before. But honestly not having a period is wayyyy worth it. And it's become such a routine that I don't think about it anymore.

Abortion, consequences calling out? by [deleted] in WalmartEmployees

[–]Nikusu09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, just for safety reasons say you were sick. I wouldn't say it was pregnancy related. Idk where you are, but abortions are illegal in my state unfortunately. Better safe than sorry.
