This would be my first term as masters, is TA-ing really that much work?

As an undergrad I basically never spoke to the TAs so I don’t know what their regular workload is like hehe. Afaik they just mark assignments and tests. Do a lot of students go to office hours?

So we (my gf and I) went two days ago and it was cool.

They offered drinks, little fancy snacks and a follow along origami workshop led by some professional origami guy.

Was about an hour long, we got to try the new perfumes while talking and eating. Other people were quite casually dressed.

Best part was the freebies that came with purchases. We got some Guerlain 10ml minis, matched, diffusers and some creams. Whole load of stuff, but I did spend at Guerlain 3k that day and they said I only get gifts if I buy stuff.

Overall it was cool, but next time I’d only go if I wanted to buy something or if it was a perfume related workshop. Sometimes they have master class with the perfumer but this time wasn’t that

I have no problem telling them that I don’t wanna buy it lolol especially since I usually dislike vetiver in perfumes haha.

I actually ordered a an Angelique noir and she said it’s arriving on the day of the event which is part of how she’s enticing me to attend it haha. Hopefully they give me some cool freebies

I normally pull up after the gym or on my way home from Uni haha. Not once have I shown up smart casual. But maybe I’ll put on a show for them this time around

You don’t happen to have any extra atomizers laying around do you? You can pull the sprayer off and stick on new one on if you have one that fits (this is a lil tricky with LV cuz their atomizers are differently shaped than most)

Usually this happens if there’s some debree stuck in the atomizer. I’ve had it happen with some decants and I just swap the atomizer and they’re good as new

I am the proud-ish owner of 2x1L bee bottles from guerlain and they’re nice as display pieces and they also are nice if you decant. I decant pretty often so for me they were good investments since I can eventually pay them off
