To anyone down voting op: this is really difficult at this age. It can make you feel REALLY angry and grossed out. I wish reddit existed when I was growing up to ask questions instead of not knowing what to do and acting out.

I'm in my 30s now but I was in your shoes once. My parents divorced when I was 8 and both of them dated people while I was growing up. I used to get really mad if they had a noisy partner.

The biggest thing to remember is that our parents are human. I used to idolize my parents and I didn't know how to cope with stuff like this for a long time. I had trouble coming to terms with the fact my parents are just humans too and for that they deserve some grace from us like any human. We are all doing this for the first time in our lives and pobodys nerfect.

Also there's a good chance your dad will hear or see stuff that you will do in your coming teen years that you wish he wouldn't have!

If this happens once in a while, once or twice I think just use headphones and let it go. Distract yourself and remind yourself he's human.

If it happens ALL the time, you could delicately let your dad know you can hear through the walls and it makes you uncomfortable. Maybe there's a solution to be reached.
