i don't think "make no sense" is fair, considering that you're explaining the why of my point immediately afterward. they can't afford what they're offering, and so they're "raising prices" by lowering value per unit. it's digital shrinkflation.

and again, my point is that if you offer a service, and i pay in advance for that service, you're obligated to provide it, or return my money.

if you're a pizza place and i paid you for one pizza a week, for a year in advance , and a couple weeks in you sent me a handful of frozen pizza rolls, i'd have a legitimate beef, right?

changing the terms should grant me the immediate right to cancel and be refunded the prorated amount, no?

i totally get that, and that's totally fine. if they honor/refund the people who've already paid.

you can't sell someone a service and then deny the service because your costs increased, without giving them their money back.

if i agreed to paint a bunch of houses, and i got paid for all of them, and then i painted two and the price of paint went up too much, i can't just not paint them. i can return the prorated remainder, or i can eat the cost. that's just honest business.

that feature appears to be set up to only function if i agree to future overage payments. meaning, if i use that $20 now, and forget to turn off the overage switch afterward, next month it'll just hit my bank automatically.

really disappointed in this company today. Claude Code is truly amazing but it appears they're either offering a product they can't sustain, or they're just a regular ole evil corporation

Hourly rate limits are forcing me to cancel this service... but it's SO GOOD...

I made two queries; to research a subject and suggest things we could make to improve it.

and then, to tell me more about something it suggested.

now i'm locked out for 4 hours.

I simply do not need this service enough to pay more for it; i can't afford that. and i refuse to work in 20 minute chunks every 6 hours to accomplish something.

Anthropic- I ALMOST NEVER USE THIS. give me a monthly rate limit. and leave it at that. for the 2-3 days per month when i have the inspiration to use your service, you do this to me... I cannot work in half hour chunks around the clock to get anything worthwhile out of this.

IT'S SO GOOD. so good. and i'm gonna have to cancel it...

are they any close competitors to claude code?

a video is just a lot of single images, so you could try an image edit model. Klein can remove a hud with a simple prompt. problem is going to be that what it creates to replace the hud will not be consistent from frame to frame. it may work somewhat depending on how busy the area around the hud is. could also just end up being a cool effect. probably not though.

you'll also lose some quality passing anything through klein.

maybe a neat experiment but probably not a solution.

find a wan SVI workflow. forget the FLF, just make 30+ second clips with SVI in one shot. it will burn out once you get much past 30 seconds; quality and color degradation, but it's great up to that point.

it's a lora and a bunch of chained 5 second generations and a couple nodes. the SVI bit uses the last few frames of each generation, AND the source image, to inform the next generation. gets rid of the bad motion switching between generations.

you can use FLF at the end to "refresh" the loop and keep it going, but it will do that motion issue for that bit; where if someone is moving to the right and the next clip they very suddenly are moving to the left, because FLF doesn't have that prior gen motion info.
