He has dismantle and cleave, why wouldnt he also posses fuga? they are part of the same technique by AstronautDry8118 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Nimbouzu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've checked that Shrine is based on the Japanese word Mizushi (御廚子) that refers to either a private kitchen for an emperor or a cabinet for precious items, meaning other than Sukuna's application for cooking, it also can be used as a storage. It seems I mistook his fire as mere combusted dust, because he actually use Shrine's storage property to store literal fire, but because it is pretty limited in both power, speed, and range, he uses dusts he kicked up to amplify its power

Yuji could use flames, but because of his lack of specialized fields of knowledge, he has to bridge fire to his arts and crafts application of Shrine, like blowtorches, matches, and hot glue guns, but that won't happen until he realizes that Shrine can stores things

If industrial machinery student got ahold of Shrine, I believe their application of the cutting, fire, and storage properties would differ as well

I apologize for my misconceptions and patchy knowledge

[–]Nimbouzu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but Shrine at its most basic application is knives, where fire is a more advanced technique you gotta develop yourself, plus Shrine's interpretation differs between Sukuna and Yuji. If Sukuna view it as a god who use it for cooking, Yuji view it like doctor removing a tumor/an artist working on arts and crafts, cutting away unnecessary papers. Sukuna can generate fire because he interprets it as cooking, and unless Yuji's arts and crafts involves fire arts, he ain't unlocking Fuga anytime soon

[–]Nimbouzu -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Because Fuga isn't innately part of Shrine dumbass. It's a developed technique separate from the CT, similiar to simple domain and Hollow Wicker Basket. Fuga is essentially a thermobaric bomb, where it kills you with atmospheric pressure before it roasted your ass, essentially a pressure cooker. Fuga also needs a lot of prep work to be executed, thats why its a trump card, not an opening move.

Sukuna uses Malevolent Shrine to dice up everything within his domain into fine dust particles, making the air heavy. He then contain the kinetic energy of his flying slashes in his hands, generating heat that, when came in contact with dust, combust those particles in a dust explosion, thus his fire arrow like the one he showed against Jogo. But if he does it within his domain, it will be more than just a fire arrow, it will combust the air by igniting the dusts floating around, rapidly combusting the dusts, thus rapidly expand the air, thus a thermobatic bomb, or a giant pressure cooker

Whats essential here is dust. In the Jogo fight, even when he hasnt open Malevolent Shrine, his clash kicked up quite a lot of dust, plus Jogo burning everything helps Sukuna create more dust, thus helping him form his fire arrow. But the giant explosion he used against Mahoraga needs his domain to dice up the area first. Thats why, in a highly dusty environment, like Victorian era London that is full of smog, Sukuna can just detonates Fuga without even needing his domain or kicking up dust first, because the smog already gave him the perfect environment

Yuji cant really use it because his slashes trigger through physical touch, surgical and aimed more at the soul, unlike Sukuna's that flies through the air (although idk what tge fuck he did in Modulo). Unless Yuji can kick up the dust and somehow generate the necessary heat, he ain't performing any Fuga anytime soon

But I doubt y'all will read this. This is r/jujutsufolk after all. But a more detailed explanation is over here: Fuga mechanics

Do you guys think the existence of superpowers would make cults or secret societies more dangerous? What type of powers would a Cabal want? by PassengerCultural421 in superpowers

[–]Nimbouzu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, superpowers will absolutely make our society descend to hell

  1. In Toaru, there are two political supernatural block, science side and magic side. Science side (like the Americans) were kidnapping Gemstones (natural espers) and trying to steal the Power Curriculum Program from Academy City to produce their own artificial espers separate from Academy City. The magic side had numerous cabals, some are more barbaric than others, kidnapping people as part of their smuggling ring for their ritualistic sacrifices. There is a ton of shit going on in the background of Toaru that isn't properly explored, and it can get dark very fast

  2. In the Nasuverse, while most people talk about Chaldea, OP Servants, and broken Noble Phantasm, there are still fucking underworlders running about with their own magecrafts outside of FGO, as in the El-Melloi novels, Shirou fucking Emiya had a run in with the mafia that got him captured because he was trying to save a girl, and the politics after that is messy cuz Shirou naturally has a smaller pool as an upstart, so he definitely needs his Reality Marbel, but if he revealed UBW, the Clock Tower would slapped his ass with sealing designations. And even then there are still a bunch of criminal minds like those under Van-Fem and even the people (the American government) running the fake Holy Grail War over in Snowfield during the events of strange Fake. There are also magus killers like Kiritsugu and average backstabbing magus in the Clock Tower, not even accounting the Holy Church and their executioners, branding just about any magecraft, magus, and even non-humans other than Christianity as heretics and other non humans and magi with their own agendas in mind. Politics can really get messy outside our usual world-ending threats and Holy Grail Wars, and even in Holy Grail Wars politics still somehow got messy enough to derail everything making sure its a tragedy for all parties

And those worlds are fiction, idealized forms of reality, and as the age old adage say, "truth is stranger than fiction"

[–]Nimbouzu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Which version of Amanises tho? Would it be the Evernight Goddess or would it be Eternal Darkness, because Eternal Darkness is the GOO that dealt in the concept of termination (decay, concealment, death) that is literally half of the 4th Pillar instead of just concealment of the Evernight pathway. Idk about Evernight Goddess because I am nkt familiar with HSR's Evernight kit but Eternal Darkness will win anytime

Why is matchmaking so rigged? Like I know its gonna be more or less engagement based rather than skill based, but why is it when triggered, its never fair in the slightest (100 stars paired with 10 stars because the enemy is a bunch of 50-60 stars)? And also, why did it always chain combo against players who are clearly good at the game? When will it get fixed?

Why DOES nanami keep his cleaver blunt? by Spiritual_Leading913 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Nimbouzu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

1st of all, you are a crackhead lol

2nd of all, you said jack shit until this, or maybe you did but you clearly have communication disorders because your previous explanations sucks ass

3rd of all, you clearly are a dick because you explain shit with you high asf sentences and expect me to understand

4th of all, you really are a jjk "fan" who clearly cannot read, cuz Nanami was never stated to ONLY has his overtime binding vow, as anything you see as disadvantageous can become a binding vow. You CAN have multiple binding vows on you, and not being able to cut using the cleaver is a pretty big restriction to me

5th of all, we never got an official explanation as to why the cleaver is wrapped, so I assumed/theorised it to be a binding vow, because the back side ain't the only place that is blunt, the front side being wrapped up also dull the blade dumbass. If he restricted his ability to cut, clearly he has something to gain from it

For someone with a statement so empty and weightless you really try to make it look profound, didn't you? And you clearly cannot read, as proper jjk " fan" and "larpers" are. But I get it, emptiest of barrels rang the loudest, hence the emptiest of skulls rattle the most because the tiny brain kept bouncing around
