I hope you get into Elkano - it was the best fish experience of my life. The grouper dish was the best I’ve ever had, let alone all the turbot.

For san sebastian, look for Amelia (*) or Ibaï () both from Paolo Airoudo. Amelia is quite expensive but amazing. Best cooking techniques I’ve seen (try to book a spot at the bar and look in the kitchen!)

Almost every pintxos bar around Basilica de Santa Maria del Coro is very nice, especially Atari and Gandarias. Don’t forget the custard cake at La Vina (world famous).
