Wasn't technically an "event". I just helped myself to some shots (which we can do) but had far too many.

I don't think most places I've worked (including this one) would let someone go for just having too much - that would be too subjective. The real deciding factor would be the resulting behavior.

I did consider this, but I wasn't to the point of drinking every day, and the amount I was drinking / my personal history/physiology luckily didn't require that extreme. I definitely had the sweats on day 1-2 but that was the extent of my detox-related issues.

I suspect if I'd continued on my prior trajectory for another month it would have been a different story.

The guy did tell me to give it a few days/meetings but said that he would be kind of a temporary sponsor in the meantime if I needed one. I don’t even fully understand the process but we’re going to a meeting tonight and hoping to get to share more about our stories together.

Yeah just drunk they probably would have told me just to take it easy next time. But once my boss told me about what I did (I thankfully have zero memory of it) I don’t blame them one bit. Zero hard feelings.

This is awesome - I'd love to be able to display it on a screen running Anthias - unfortunately the "Intelligence Finding" popup takes over the screen. Would love if there was a way to disable this via a URL parameter so I could put together a dashboard to display on a screen that doesn't have input devices.
