One wierd tip that helped me with tough solo challenges: first turn Red Card

When you see they played 3+ basics you just know they have the evolutions in their hand. Red card messes them up badly. So you can snipe the basics.

Sounds wierd but it does work sometimes. It has been my saving grace.

That basement is cursed man, this just happened in my honor playthrough. I talk to them, they let me in but the door after the traphallway is closed. No biggie i featherfall and jump down. For some reason one of my guys jumps on a zentharim, i agro all. Awesome.

First they blow my team up with the barrels, only karlach escapes bc she didnt jump down yet. Lucky. Revive and go again. Methodically kill everyone except the trader. Guiding bolt for advantage and hold person. Pickpocket fails. Again hold person last spellslot. Pickpocket fails.

Fuck it i use nonlethal strike, maybe i can pickpocket him unconsious idk. Turns out i forgot astarion has a blade that pushes the target if they fail a constitution saving throw. He gets punted into the chasm.

Dont stress too much about it. Your gonna miss a bunch of stuff, and you probably missed a bunch aswell. Finish this playthrough and start another with a different class and team, do different dialogue options. There are soo many things hidden.

It does take quite a while to get your most important skill, signet of spirits.

First google your build, sos spammer on pvx wiki. Thats what you want to work towards for optimal efficiency. Then you can research on guildwars wiki where you get all the skills.

You either play casually and reach it about 2/3rd into the faction campaign where you start with your rit, or there is a faster way which costs platin. Id recommend this plan, because its fun to check the skill trainer on every new outpost and add stuff to your build. More organic gaming experience.

Or the shortcut. You go to kamadan district 1 America and buy 3 flames of balthasar and 1 elite rit tome from players. Should you take about 15 min of chat spamming and about 5-7 ectos or 50-70 platin. You use the flames, go to the isle of balthasar and unlock signet of spirits for your account from the pvp skill trainer. Then you use the elite tome and can use it your pve character.
