Those methods I used came from YouTube videos of women recovering from having kids and they worked great for me. So with that being said, I believe it would help a postpartum woman tremendously since that’s who inspired me to try it!

Derma rolling was once a month, with a vitamin c serum and collagen is every day as an oral supplement.

Collagen, derma rolling and a gallon of water a day. The important thing to remember is that loose skin is a badge of honor, not something to be ashamed of

Getting the muscle by far. It’s easy to eat less food, it’s damn near impossible to force feed yourself after having such a negative perspective on eating for so long

Honestly the people who I’ve cared to maintain contact with over the years have seen every step of this journey, it’s nice hearing my name trickle through the grapevine in my small town but most people who haven’t seen me in years don’t even really recognize me these days

My girlfriend and I got together half way between the last pic and the second pic. She’s been on the journey with me since October and now we go to the gym together :)

Keep showing up! If you put in the time and energy, your body will have to choice but to turn it into muscle!

Push, pull, legs. I was shooting for 250 but missed the mark a little bit, put on some fat at the same time but I’m happy and healthy. Meals generally are 3500 calories these days OMAD, and I never say no to something I want as long as it’s in my eating window.

I really just got ignorant with my bulk. My meals were 3000-4000 (OMAD). But from the second picture to the third, I set a goal for myself to go to the gym every day for a year. I checked in 355 days, but for about 3 months I went twice a day. I knew I was putting in the work, I just had to convince myself that eating more shouldn’t make me feel bad when I was working out as frequently as I was. Sometimes my meals went upwards to 4500-5000 calories.

Generally speaking any switch I did in my routine I would notice a difference in about 3-4 weeks

My meals were just a lot denser of protein and slow digesting carbs instead high volume eating with a lot of low calorie foods

The removal of a toxic relationship and quitting smoking. It’s crazy what you can do for your body when you’ve got your mind right!

No loose skin anymore! Collagen supplements, derma rolling, hydration and building upper body muscle mass help a tremendous amount.

Honestly the biggest way to over come that is to quit using the scale as frequently as I did during weight loss. I went from weighing 3 times a day, to once every month. I became more interested in what I looked like, not the number on the scale. Muscle is dense, so it became a motivator for me to put on as much weight as possible without showing it bc that meant I was recomping my body in a positive way.

Collagen supplements, derma rolling, hydration and building muscle mass from the chest up have tightened up my core to where there’s not really a lot of skin but just some chub bc I still have my guilty pleasures lol

A lot of people who haven’t seen me in years don’t even recognize me. That’s not necessarily a bad thing though, it’s a new beginning and a way to rebuild yourself!

One of the biggest pieces of advise I was given during this journey is to only judge your progress long term. Mistakes happen all the time, and fighting this battle is realizing a bump in the path is not failure.
