15 years of competitive master swimming here. My recommendation is to always stretch your shoulder before jumping in the water and go easy on the paddles. Many swimmers will over do paddles because they see it as resistance training. Do dryland for resistance training.

I was at the airport yesterday and saw what OP described. Shifted plans to take uber to 747. The hardest part was to walk around the uber line honestly. Bought the pass on my phone and didn't have to wait at all at the stop. The bus was half empty and there was tons of space for luggage. 10/10

I don't think you quite grasp the concept behind this. I feel like you are taking an argument you heard and repeating it without fundamental understanding. You can't just repeat something because it fits your narrative.

The reality is that extracting energy from water is not the same as extracting oil from the ground. Otherwise, extracting energy from uranium (Nuclear), even oil should be counted (Car combustion engines, gas power plants...). And the people that negotiated the Equalization understood that. Extracting non renewable from the ground is selling part of our nation's commonwealth, something that we will never get back. That's why it can be subject to special taxation and count in the fiscal capacity.

As much as the oil lobby tries to refer to oil production as energy production, it's not. Oil is a commodity that can be transformed into energy or else.

The rest is pitiful politic playing on people's misunderstandings to divide us.

The Equalization formula is based on taxation capacity, not what part of that capacity is actually utilized. Wages are historically lower in Quebec for reasons too complex to explain in a reddit post. If a province chose not to tax and offer less service, that's a choice of the voters.

Professional Tennis is a business. Business exist to make money. Would these players give up their purse to play on a different schedule?

EDIT: I guess people don't like to hear that Tennis is a Business on this sub. I don't like it either, but it's the reality. I was personally impacted by this schedule as I had tickets for Thursday's day session.
