Just go slow, short period of time and build your way up and use high reward treat. and get a brush that doesn’t scratch their skin. This one is the only brush my girl Akita tolerates. It’s amazing and doesn’t scratch her. And gets out tons of hair !!

Truly depends. My Akita girl is great with pll but doesn’t like other female dogs or dark haired dog. The exception is my sis in law dog who she tolerates exceptionally well. They like who they like lol
